Why must they do 38" inseam on the damned Bloomies for us fatties? 36" would be ideal for me. Further, their blather about them sewing up small scares me. You've been doing this for how long and still can't get it right?! This has been my issue with biting the bullet on Bloomies/Loomies. Still haven't and have been eyeing another pair of black denim. Between this and RgT black, the latter being a known experience, but the Bloomies are intriguing. I just hate the initial guess that makes this process annoying.

Yeah, and looking further at the fits, I'd still have to taper a pair of Slims and I know the back rise will be a little too low. So skip. But I still love the idea.

I've been between slims or the skinny and sizing up a couple sizes and just being cautious with the soak. All that and it's just easier to get the Stealth SK - I know the fit and I know what I'm getting. Granted, different types of denim. Maybe I'll try the Bloomies. A fitting last hurrah of Gustin denim (they haven't pushed anything else out that I want - been holding out for the British Khaki selvedge in a denim cut just to add a solid work pair for the office).

Maybe I will give these a try. I don't own any black denim with a white weft. All are presently black/black. The RgT would be the same - but maybe I'll be a baller and splurge on both. My skinny G's are Italian black/black and the thighs on them have no stretch whatsoever. They get zero wear and should probably be donated. I have a Soso pair that fit great which would be why I don't opt for the RgT's at this point. Still haven't talked myself out of the Bloomies.

It's funny, I got in on the very first Gustin workshirt campaign (that shipped four years ago!). In that four years, I've probably worn that shirt 400-500 times and washed it like 40 times. I washed it yesterday and it finally got a hole in the elbow, and now they're offering it again they very next day (for $26 more)... is it fate telling me I should get it again? Have you all every patched up the elbows of a shirt? I'm afraid it'll look dorky. Elbow hole and Saddleback briefcase fading: Sleeve whiskers:

I'm thinking of picking one up. The last gustin HBone I wrecked. I thought it was too long (body and sleeves) so i had it shortened, which came out horrible. Then I washed it and line dry, it shrunk in lenght
How short is it now, maybe I can take it off your hands and help you fund a new one, I got a short torso (sexi long legs tho) so these are tents on me.

Get yourself a needle and indigo thread and let the Man in You patch/stitch it up. I like using the Sashiko style. Look up some pics and videos to inspire yourself

I'm away right now. I'll send some pics and measurements next week. I have the Wabisabi shirt also.

You wanna get rid of them? Gimme length neck-seam <-> end of shirt.
I really love the h-bone but they reach my knees. I had to shorten my g-workshirts aswell and Im not gonna do that again, it took me very long time.

Backed the Bloomies. I haven't purchased from Gustin in about a year and a half. Never thought I'd buy anything else from them. Now I get to spend the next month wondering how messed up the sizing will be (hoping they figured out how to follow their own size chart for these).
With only double-blacks currently, and every other variation of texture and color, a tradition black pair/white weft/contrast stitching and a loomstate denim project should a fun break-in.

Has anyone ever broken in a pair of the Japan Color Core? What do they look like as they fade?

I was like "oh, I could go for a pocket t-shirt." Apparently, that adds $15(!!!) to the pack of 3. Absurd.

Pendleton wool chinos? Kinda tempting. Wish they'd zipperize them though. Hate buttonfly on non denim.

I guess when I pay to have them hemmed I could pay to have a zipper put in. But then I'm gonna have like $150 for the privilege of getting swamp ass in the office.
But it sure will be toasty between the parking lot and the office.

A bit pricey, but think how nice it would go with a pair of their salmon stretch jeans?, plus unlimited potential for ways of wrapping or tying knots around your neck with it.

The selvedge canvas looks good. I think I would back them if they were in the chino cut rather than jeans. Someone has made pants from the brown fabric recently. Maybe shocker atelier?
