So I just got one of the new Gustin shirts in size Large. I was always a classic medium and the new medium was terribly small. I had to return two orders and I just re-ordered one in large to see how it fit. I'm happy to say it fits almost perfectly, just as good as the classic mediums did. If anyone else was a classic medium and bummed out about the new sizing, just go with the large. Very happy to report this. Sleeve and shoulder measurements appear to be too big though, so while the chest may fit better, everything else would be too wide and too long. Honestly, they fit me perfect now. Better then the classic medium used to even. The rugged shirt sizing also fits me great btw. I bought a large in classic and in rugged from the stock store to see.

Page 420.
Well gee, if they made a XXXL I'd be all set!
I am still tempted to try the new cut but I'm taking a break from G.

Bozer is right on. If you were a classic medium, go with a new large now. I was a classic large and a new large is just a bit too tight in the shoulders and chest for me. Dropped from a 46 chest to a 44.5 chest. Problem with the XL is that the sleeves run way too long for my arms. At this point, it looks like TS and Ratio will be my go-to's for shirts.

I hear all the new clothing market disruptors are implementing reverse vanity sizing. Market share here G comes!

Trying to understand the difference between the G Natural Twill vs. Duck and they have the same description with the twill being the correct description.
I like the look of the twill better myself and the price seems right.

I like the look of the twill better myself and the price seems right. Both would make a much better workshirt, but I suppose those are dead. But here's all you need to know about twill cs canvas/duck. Twill has a linear pattern, where canvas has a more uniform pattern. Jeans are nearly always twill.

Thanks Yeah, I like the unevenness and the odd dye pattern of the twill in the picture. Plus, duck seems much easier to acquire. OTOH I don't typically wear jeans in the summer.

Anyone try any of this new shirt style? Trying to figure out if its worth the plunge, or same old same old from gustin.

Just to break up the IH love on this forum for a bit, anyone have any thoughts or experience with the new Cone 2 stretch offering?

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't see the notification in time after the last drop. After a cold wash and 20min dry on low the fit is perfect. Very cool shirt. It's going to my new favorite, I think.

Hey guys, how the t-shirts sewing up these days? I might just snag a four pack of the long sleeves to wear under scrubs at work. I have some of the tri-blend short sleeves from a few years ago that breath fairly well but just need something for covering up tattoos. Less worried about colors, more about fit.

Wearing the long sleeve today. Got it a year ago. Sewed up fine for me. Fitted but not tight.

I've always liked the grey ember flannel. Might give it a shot in the new cut.

I've always liked the grey ember flannel. Might give it a shot in the new cut. I've had mine for a few years. I wear it often enough, it's just that many times I look at it in the closet and think "oh, I'll wear that" then when I do I'm like "hmm, this is a pretty nice shirt". IT's a bit of a sneaker pattern. It'll grow on you. I think that Red White and Blue poplin they run all the time is the best though. That pattern is a workhorse.

Mine's so thin and unaligned it makes me mad just thinking about it. Aha, you meant solid colors. Got it.

thats "Midnight Plaid" and in my opinion their best shirt. I think it's the second one I ever bought, after the blue oxford which is also an awesome shirt. midnight plaid is a great summer shirt as its light Not the Flag one? Right? Bunch of slub T shirts from Gustin have dropped. I have been waiting for these for awhile as IMO, the slub shirts are the second best T shirts G makes.
The best one is the heavy indigo.
