My experience with Gustin chinos has been nothing but positive. I've said before and still fee they're the best product they make with my waxed trucker in 2nd.
I received the navy blue moleskin chinos a few days ago and finally opened the package. Wow are these things substantial. The difference in weight/feel between these and the cotton twill is very noticeable. As with my other two pair, spot on construction. But the hand itself feels so much more robust.
Highly recommend that. Washed and dried now I'll take them for hemming.

Agreed. Their chinos are great. It sounds crazy but I almost regretted getting my Rogue Territory ISC officer chinos when I saw Gustin got ISC. Almost.

Anyone have the Cone Selvedge Canvas chinos? Thoughts and pics?
I'm a size 32 in Gustin denim and opinion seems to be to size up 1 for chinos? Thanks.

I have the cone indigoxindigo selvedge chinos.
I'd say stick with your G size in denim.
I sized down and they are a bit tighter than my other chinos from G but still wearable.

I've been super tempted by them but figure I'll wait till I get my TS shirt from the same material and see how I like the fabric.

I like the duck chinos G makes a lot more but these indigoxindigos arent bad. the thing is, I cant wear indigo bottoms everyday and chinos are usually not indigo so they are a good alterate when im tired of wearing jeans lol. these havent seen much wear because they are indigo. i'd say they are softer than the ducks, and a bit thinner, but other than that they are fine.

If you buy your jeans tight and they stretch to fit you, size up. If you buy your jeans and they fit with no stretching/breaking in period, buy your same size. If you wear a slim and the calves are really tight in the jeans, you may also want to consider ordering the straight fit.

I cold wash by hand and hang dry, then iron. They don't shrink at all with this method and it keeps them looking good. I like them more than the jeans and wear them 4 days a week to work.

In general just use the same sort of care as you do for the jeans, they're all cotton so not terribly delicate or anything like that, but hot water and drying will result in some shrinkage. The raw duck will behave differently than the twill, though, so it sort of depends which you've got on the way.

I have three pair of the Gustin chinos, and this is exactly how I take care of them.. although my ironing is only on an as needed basis. We have a nice rack to hang the pants on for drying and they usually don't end up that wrinkled. I wear them several days a week (have blue, olive, and graphite gray pairs presently). Love the fit on all pairs.

I'm not sure the duck is raw, I have a couple in duck and they don't shrink at all with washing. My raw Ciano Farmer ducks shrank like crazy but I tumble dried those on low.

I backed the Japan true khaki. How often do you guy wash the Chinese I'm sitting on about a month without washing my Gustin jeans and don't plan on washing them any time soon.

I leave it to the Chinese to wash themselves, personally. I'm guessing you were autocorrected in some way out of jeans, and depending on what they are, they will be washed often or rarely -- typically indigo goes as long as it can without being offensive, and things that don't catch fades I'll wash more often (basically anything not indigo dyed). In general, though, wash your clothes when they're dirty, your activities will dictate how often this is. The Japan Twill seems to be very nice, I have the Caramel. If you need shrink, these will give you some in a hot wash, but cold you should stay pretty much the way they arrive as long as you're hang drying (as the previous messages say). I don't recommend sizing these to stretch like you might with denim, though, I don't think the chambray the waist is lined with reacts well to it.

For anyone who just received the military graphite chinos, what color shoes will you wear with them? Black, brown... both?

I totally agree. G chinos fit great because as long as they hit the mark or are small (which is almost always) but within tolerance they are perfect for me. I have graphite, navy, light and true khaki, heavy Carmel, eucalyptus, brown and sand canvas and I'll probably double up on some. I have a problem I know

I machine wash cold tumble dry low. Never had an issue. Getting my moleskin navy blue hemmed this week. GREAT fabric. Feels like 18 oz denim in terms of thickness etc

I'll wear mine with light brown boots, red brown boots or whatever sneakers I want Gonna wash mine in hot water and dry em pretty warm and hope they shrink half a size. Then get em hemmed somewhere Any recommended tailors in Tucson?

Ahhhhhhhh shit I f'ed up the dye. Military graphite chinos are promoted to beaters for farming
Edit: I dried them further and they fit so perfectly. I'm not discouraged because they are thick and comfortable. No formalness left tho just work
