The leg sewed up .35" small at cuff for both my hbones and heavy caramel.
The herringbones are pretty rusty orange. Not brown or camel really it's a rust. They have a crinkle or something to them. The pattern is pretty subtle.
The heavy sewed up wicked short in length but that's fine for me.
I am going for straights next time the heavy coffees get offered.

L to R: Graphite, Japan Military Green, Japan Camel Herringbone, Heavy Caramel, Heavy Coffee: Could you post a couple pics of the heavy caramels? I'm thinking of buying a pair from a member. Actually, does anyone have thoughts or pics on or if the heavy caramels?

I like the boners. Subtle herringbone pattern. Kinda rusty orange. My next chino I'll try 36 straight instead of slim. They keep sewing up tight in the leg. Do you think you'll blow the crotch on those boners brentkuz ?

Japen Camel Herringbone in more detail. These are some beautiful chinos. Along with the "Heavies", they are definitely knocking on Mister Freedom's door. Is it as orange in person as it comes across in the picture? The subtle herringbone texture is very cool. Short answer, pretty much - depending on the lighting you are in. Long answer, these were taken with photography umbrella lights on them, but not too much, and with some sun still coming into the room I tried my best to capture the true colors in the initial picture (no adjustments after the fact, besides cropping). They aren't easy colors to capture, especially all at once, but I'd say they are very close to how they look IRL when indoors. I know Dev has a few of these same ones, so perhaps he can comment on that. I have some other pics I took using just sunlight, and they come across a bit differently, like all things. They are definitely in the burnt orange / rust family, but by no means are they ostentatious. They have a vintage vibe to them, which takes the edge off, and the Hbone adds a great texture. IMO, one of the best fabrics from Gustin, and I'll definitely be backing another pair if they ever return.

I've tried to take pictures, and I could never get the right colors with my stupid camera phone. But your description of the Camel HerBoners are dead on.

Just wanted to follow up on my duck chino catastrophe: 1) they confirmed that despite all the beefy description and their claim that the fabric is pre-washed, the ducks should still be washed inside out on DELICATE setting. 2) they did offer me something to soften the blow, though I shouldn't say what exactly. I think it's relevant to the group that they did try and make it up to me.

nater sorry for the delay! ..... here's a pretty accurate shot of the Heavy Caramel - depending on the lighting, they can look a bit lighter

I remember when the chinos got no love on the weargustin boards. Glad to see their popularity grow. I have two pair and think they're great looking, well crafted clothing.

Brents always blowing crotches and its kind of emembarrassing. Another thing I know...,is that if they ever come back... brentkuz will be jumping all over some Japanese boners.

No spare buttons from G I wonder if they will send some if requested They will; they've done it for others on the board. I'm going to ask for some extra WS buttons soon. Since they use the same buttons on all the chinos it doesn't seem like a big ask IMO.
