Dang have I been lucky with these Gustin Chinos! Ordered a pair of Japan Khaki's last month, got them shipped within days of funding! Japan Olives funded yesterday, just got shipping notice today! Say what? How is that even possible? 38 slims, big guys rule! |

Got the heavy carmels in and measured. Waist spot on thigh 11.7-8 should be 12.25. Knee 8.1 should be 8.25 and hem 7.5 vs 7.75 guide. Only the thigh came in to a point where it could be a problem for some people but this sizing works perfectly for me. Since I backed 2 pairs of the first run that came in way under spec the rest have come in on or within the small side of tolerable and they're awesome. Oh and the wait time for these was not 4 months. Maybe just lucky.

Not to look good at the beach, no to be healthier, not to be able to run faster or to be a better fighter. To fit in chinos better. |

I actually pay a guy to stand in my closet and hold my chinos and denim from gold plated hooks dipped in gossamer tears and blessed by a priest.
Keeps 'em looking sharp, IMO.

Upside down uses the weight of the pants to maintain the crease (if they're creased). I hang my G chinos upside down so I can clamp the hanger on the cuff to help set it. To be clear, we're talking about the type of hanger that is one large clamp, not the kind that's a bar with clips at either end.

Yeah. I use rich mahogany clamp hangers with felt inside. Hang them upside down helps to work out wrinkles from behind the knee and stuff.

Gustin Chinos look great with Chucks and a Tee or a dress shirt and jacket.
They're the only pants I packed for a recent business trip that included business casual meetings and partying at night.
Only brought Wolverine 1K boots for footwear.

is there any general consensus on sizing up on gustin chinos? I can give you one and only one example. Heavy caramel chinos 36 slim. Inseam came in at 33" Cuff 7.9" Knee came in about .4" small as well. Thigh came in .25" small. So the 12oz chinos for my case did sew up tight. |

is there any general consensus on sizing up on gustin chinos? same waist up one fit, or size up. depends on how you buy your jeans. If you need stretch, don't count on that out of the chinos, and size appropriately. At this point, the next chinos I buy will be the slim fit, two waist-sizes up from the jeans size I buy. General consensus seems to be size up one, Gustin says buy your same size. |
