Yeah shirts and Type II jackets would have been pretty unique in this market. So I had been told my jacket was cut. This was about 8 weeks ago. Right around the 45 days to complete jeans announcement Flat out lie? Or are there a bunch of cut, not-assembled tops? No, if I told you your jacket was cut, then it's been cut and not assembled. That's about the time I went through the whole cut book and cataloged everything.

I can see why shirts are a bit harder, especially with custom. And with as Stupid pricing. I'd like to see what Gustin is doing with Button downs done for WS. TS comes close but is missing a few details and they are made in Portugal (nothing against Portugal, I'd just like to see an American Made American Inspired WS). There are a few out there but are $200+. And Gustin, I just don't think it there thing, but they did ok,ish for $125 TS isn't doing all shirts in Portugal. The Glacier, Utility, and Mechanic shirts are made in the USA, but the patterned poplins and such tend to be made in Portugal now. I believe this was in response to the inability to align patterns as displayed on Gustin shirts, since I think both TS and Gustin used to come out of the same factory in San Francisco.

So what...we should try and get refunds for shirts and jacket asap because they will never be made? Wait for notice that they are looking to give refunds. Right now i am not sure how they can even afford to give em if there is nothing coming in sale wise

Roman was a gift for those who got something because I really think what I got was worth way more than what I paid. He screwed himself because i truly believe he had something special. If he had patience and the willingness to take things a bit slower, he could have blown Lawless through the roof. What a shame I've owned three businesses (2 good, one bad in terms of success), and it has taken every ounce of restraint I have to not write treatise after treatise explaining what they are doing wrong IMHO. In the end though you can't help those who don't want to be helped. Can you speak to the amount of random inventory from returns or samples or whatever that's hanging around?

Hey Kayla orion23, I'm glad to see you got out of there. You were always very nice on the phone and the only reason I didn't cause a raucous when I went to the store in person. I'm the guy who drove up from Tucson and my shirt had mysteriously gone missing (it turned out the Manny had taken it home or something). In any case, for those asking, I received a shirt (XL montana) about 1 month ago. So some shirts have gone out. The shirt really is nice (you can see it here: www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=6619.msg414645#msg414645), it's a bummer that LD&CO couldn't figure it out. Kayla, any idea why I was able to get my shirt since they were apparently only focusing on pants? I'm feeling pretty lucky now. You were an in store correct? In store orders always got bumped into production as soon as you left from your fitting. Plus up until Jan. They were cutting orders as they came in. Whether they were shirts, jackets, vests, or jeans. Yes, I was an in-store order. My order was placed in February and I received the shirt in June, which seems incredibly fast compared to what other people have been waiting. I´m wondering if calling and going in in person helped to push things along (in spite of how annoying that must have been for you).

Do we know that the ship is sinking? He already told us that the AZ locations were going to close, and it has been said that he has very deep pockets.
Is this LA factory actually his or an existing job shop?

How did this Roman character get his money, anyway (besides ripping us off)?

I am very curious to see what comes in the package that's on the way from Lawless. The order is well on its way according to the tracking number. The order number is for a jacket though- ordered in late Jan. I can't imagine they've made that jacket yet.

(Very roughly)Looks to be about $20,000 of paid orders in the LD&Co/Lawless Outstanding Orders Thread on here.
Would be interesting to know what the finances of the whole thing were/are. Though, from the way they operate I think its very doubtful they even know themselves.

Hello, all. I am new to the forum but Im sure in my stint at Lawless I spoke with a few of you. I was the cutter and occasional help in marketing. Im also willing to answer any questions anyone has pertaining to the production facility. I was working closest with Manny the production manager and Pablo the senior pattern maker. I was our only cutter for 4-5 months. Always saying I needed more and more help as the math wasnt adding up. I was cutting 10-15 pieces a day due to bad organization and terrible details on orders. I wish I could have said something to all of you sooner but as a young guy new to the industry I didnt want to say anything that could screw up a possible job in the future. Now im broke and serving tables here in Phoenix as I lost an opportunity with another denim start up out of Portland because Roman offered me first and screwed me. So if anyone has any questions pertaining to production or problems with production Im your man as I was closest to it with the most knowledge of how things actually got pushed through.

You will not be getting the supima orders. He couldnt get the loom operating properly so it will not be produced. He had a 22oz backup denim on order from Japan to fill those if he couldnt get the loom going but I doubt he can afford the denim now as Japanese mills require cash on hand unless Pacific Blue prepaid and credited it to Roman. So do hold your breath

Supima cant make him do anything sadly because the equipment to make the denim doesnt currently work. The one loom they had operational is maybe 60% at best and would require a lot more money from Roman that he doesnt have to get going. Supima wants it, you all want it. But as I said he did have a back up 22oz denim on order from Japan to replace the supima orders but its nothing very special. Again another smoke trick. The pair of jeans you saw a tag sewn onto was just a 14oz kurabo and just a fake wasteband and back pocket for the picture.
