There was even an employee who pulled me to the side to tell me "watch out Sal, Its not what u think" This person told me to pay attention to the #'s . My immediate thought was to blow him off because for 1 I had already set my move in motion and 2 this person and I had been butting heads at that time. We had issues because this person believed me to be making more money than he/she so this employee constantly wanted to measure Richards with mine. This made me shut any comments down fast. After awhile I found out things on my own and began speaking with this person more and more about the truth that was going on. Maybe I was stupid for believing what Roman sold me but he really knew how to lay it on. Flying me all over the place was one way to cloud my judgement. Showing me looms and partners made my eyes bulge. Having the VP of Supima in all the time made me think "ok he may have it" ALL A DAMN LIE. and I fell for it just like his customers did > Selling jeans for $35 wasnt good for anyone , even if u got a pair because all that did was screw the guy further down the road who wouldn't get his or her stuff. Kind of like u can win a million dollars but someone has to die for u to get it.
He is so talented but def in the wrong business

Roman will file bankruptcy, disappear or just duck/cover to get out of the arrangement with Supima and anyone else that has a leash on him. The numbers don't add up for him to continue with it at the price point he sold them at given that he's so far under water. He's already in the red...that deal adds more red. A contract is just a piece of paper, once any concerns about appearing solvent and prosperous go away, outstanding contracts are just legal obligations that can be reneged on with only the threat of a lawsuit to worry about. If you're already broke...the holder of the contract has little reason to lawyer up and spend money to squeeze blood from a stone. Once you sink to a certain point, you become nearly immune to ethics and laws because your creditors and partners can't get a penny from an empty wallet even if they sue you to hell and back. File BK, have shitty credit for seven years and move on with your life. Strictly speaking, he's "contractually obligated" to deliver all the things we paid for but here we are and never mind the flat out theft of non refund cases on cancelled orders. I think the conversations here get really detail oriented and academic and people are forgetting that none of what is legal/illegal matters if the principal people in question don't care about ethics or laws and have no resources. I took a chance on the Supima 24ish oz jeans as well (and knew I was rolling the dice). I'd like to see them made but if it happens I'll buy y'all a round. Get a chargeback if you can and go buy some real pants on Rakuten. It's not going to happen guys. What I have seen in life. The good people trying to walk the straight and narrow get screwed but the life of being shady or even criminal pays. Laws don't apply to everyone.

I want to know about this also? Should we all just get chargebacks or play roulette with our outstanding orders? Who ran the IG? f!@k whoever blocked me. Sorry if it was you orion23I did not run the IG account or FB. They were quick to block anyone. The 24oz Supima orders as far as I know are still good to go. My understanding was that, that was an entirely different project and had business partners involved. Which is probably the only reason it's still up and going. As for the other orders, since I've seen totes upon totes of jeans going out the past few weeks... I would say there is hope. But if you have an order entirely of shirts I would request a charge back if you don't receive something by mid August. So my order with one shirt is probably going to be a no show?

Have they shipped any shirts in the last month or two? I doubt they will send anymore at all.

I am completely on the fence on cancelling or if I should just wait it out and see. 3 shirts and 2 jackets doesn't sound too promising at this point.

Honestly I would recommend credit card refunds. If you do get the shirt it will probably have an issue.
Think of it like this. The shirt is going to live up to huge expectations. Months of wait and BS.

November orders are probably well past chargebacks although I may check with Amex. I'm probably screwed on 1. I used an amex gift card I no longer have but maybe I'll cut n run on at least 1 order.

Id say jeans are good to go as they are quicker than tops. LD always had issues with the tops because of the custom thing. I would even say things would have been good if shirts or jackets were kept as "buy what we offer". I was a big reason for adding more stuff to our lineup so u can thank me for some of that. The only thing is i was told fluffy stories on capabilities all the time .

I'm hopeful that being tied with Supima will end with a pair of jeans being made. I've had good luck compared to most. I've received 4 of 6 orders. I have 1 nov order (shirt and belt) and the Supima jeans left and I won't push my luck anymore.

As long as you can provide a credit card number and expiration date, they can manually refund you. Also, if anyone just saw the new IG update.. you are no longer receiving your custom options. Which actually explains why no one has been getting the correct denim tags either. They don't want anything to be associated with Lawless anymore. That is why everyone is receiving the plain LD&CO patch.

I don't care what I get. As long as it fits (though I'm sure it won't). I mostly want something to remind my of LD, Roman, and all the good times over this past year. (That's strait up New England sarcasm for those who don't know it

You have to love LD-humour: "if you object, give us a call to request a refund ..."
I think Roman beats Monty Python's Flying Circus .....

I hope this doesn't mean they want to use contrast stitching on shirts and jackets, too. Well, in case they still consider making them.

Meh, who cares about the patch. It won't survive first contact with water anyway.

In regards to the whole refund issue. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME CALLING. Just go ahead and get a charge back. They are not going to answer the phone. They are running scared. They also won't be able to issue you a refund (As most of your orders are past the 120 day mark) unless you give them your card info... which I wouldn't leave on the message machine. At least then there will be no waiting.

"Oh, and if you don't follow us on social media (or got blocked by us), you'll never know until you receive your order! Your lack of response constitutes wholesale acceptance of whatever we deign to send you, regardless of what you actually paid for."

... For us to get these custom orders out the door, we're removing the custom options. Meh. What more do you want from them? It was YOU who wanted custom options. It was YOU who wanted discounted pricing. It was YOU who demanded that they fill their IG account with pictures of cafe racers and models giving fake endorsements of the denim. (yes, working on the next line of excuses we can expect in a passive aggressive FB post by LD) Basically what you quoted is their subtle way of saying - we're completing all custom orders, so long as by "custom" you meant "ready to wear".
