Put me in the success camp. Took a week for delivery. With the $20 credit couldn't resist a pair of green denim for $25. Only drawback is they seem a bit big compared to my other pairs ...... Those look so great. I really wanted the greens but didn't order fast enough. Nice score. My IxI are supposed to ship out today, or so Kahla said earlier when we chatted on the phone.

I saw this denim the last time I was in the LD Phoenix shop a few weeks back. It's a good color - my only concern is that this will be the future replacement for any of us who ordered the Olive Drab dyed Cone Mills denim that I ordered on Black Friday.

I ordered a pair of the RTW jeans on May 12th and they arrived on May 18th. Just saw them last night as I have been out of town. I couldn't resist the green denim after seeing some pics of it. The denim is awesome. The construction looks great, no details missed or botched to my eye. The fit is ok. I ordered the jeans on the day they were offering free shipping, so with the 50% KS discount they were $34.50 shipped. Couldn't resist because of this... It costs $30 (after tax) to have jeans chain-stitched around here. The jeans are a little wrinkled because I threw them in the hamper to be washed and dried, hoping the shrink will help the fit. Looking at RTW vs semi-custom: I also received my first partial shipment yesterday from a Nov 4 order that had some custom sizing changes and the fit is perfect for me.

Would be great if in coming ready-to-wear orders were listed with size ordered and what the actual measurements are. We should put these in the Lawless Reviews board. Will move these later. Thanks Winterland

I finally received my first partial shipment yesterday from a Nov 4th order. Order # 561 from Nov 4th. I received two of the four items in the order. They were both jeans from the 10.5oz Kaihara light gray denim. One was supposed to be a Christmas gift. Back then the site listed delivery in 6-8 weeks and I was hoping to get lucky and get them in time for Christmas. Oh to be so naive... They will now be his birthday gift in July. LOL!! The pair for myself had a custom sizing request (smaller thigh) and this came in spot on. The fit on these are perfect. I also just received a pair of RTW in the same size (32) and fit (straight slim) without any custom and the fit is off. This small change makes a big difference to me. There were a couple issues with both of them but nothing I am going to complain about as it works to my own tastes. One pair arrived with the generic LD&Co patch when the Katana patch was ordered but after seeing the katana patch in this thread this is ok. The other pair of jeans arrived with a double stitched inseam instead of a triple stitched seam. Again, this works for me as the triple stitch seam is not a detail I like and with black contrast thread on these light gray jeans it would have been very noticeable. It's funny, this detail has been on my mind since I ordered the jeans... wondering if I would like it or not. I am happy with this mistake. The denim is very light in color. My fiance likes them and was impressed I had bought some "spring clothes". I didn't want to remind here I bought these last November as she is still waiting for jeans from a Nov 5 order. I ordered the pink houndstooth lining on all my orders thinking a little color pop would be cool. These liners are bright pink!! They actually reflect off the light gray denim and cast pink glow above the pockets! I asked for it... The selvedge id on this material is super odd. It is a wide sparkling metallic strip. The right side pocket now has a sparkling metallic strip reflecting the ambient glow of the pink pocket liner. Again... I asked for it. The fit with the custom alteration is so perfect I am not phased by the glowing pink disco ball pocket. Cheers to spring!!

modslife wow those are light, but look good. strange they went with a double stitch on the inseam...considering the triple is one of the things that they refer to a signature construction detail. when i first saw the small photo in the post i thought the chair upholstery was the pocket liner and was momentarily upset that i never saw that option...which i would have chosen over any of the others at that time.

I thought the same thing. Chair fabric being used on the liners.

Received RTW kaihara light indigo this morning. So here's a super short review. Denim is great, construction is top notch. The only thing is that they sent me a slim straight, but I ordered a straight leg. Measurements are spot on with Lawless fit guide for a 34 slim. My wife loves them, so I'm keeping them. I'll share some photos later.

A couple reviews. I received my 2 pair of Ready To Wear Jeans. They were ordered 5/14 and came in 6/6. This review is for the 14oz Selvedge pair. Slim Straight 32/33 The denim is very dark indigo. The last picture is closest to true color. I wanted these for the warmer months as even though we are known for the cold in Minnesota we sometimes get 100F in the summer and with humidity. The construction is right on as I see no flaws. I really like the denim it has some crispness to it. I gave them a warm soak to get out any shrinkage and they did have some bleeding in the water. Drying now. I will measure post soak and put in measurements later. Hopefully they are nice faders. They fit me great with a little room in the waist so a soak should be right on. I will be cuffing these. I am very happy with them. 31 Waist 10 1/8 Front Rise 14 Rear Rise 22 Thigh 2 down from crotch. 7.25 knee 15 down from crotch 6.75 cuff 33 inseam

A couple reviews. I received my 2 pair of Ready To Wear Jeans. They were ordered 5/14 and came in 6/6. This review is for the 16.5oz Cone Selvedge pair. Straight 34/30 I purchased these for a relative as a present. The denim is a medium dark indigo. All the pictures are a little lighter than true color. The construction is right on as I see no flaws. I can feel they are a little thicker than the 14.5 oz. They have about the same feel other wise. These are just a little lighter in color. Very nice also. The waist and inseam are right on but are a little smaller than the charts on the rest. Should be fine for the wearer though. Just a little closer to slim fit. 34 Waist 10.5 Front Rise 14 1/8 Rear Rise 11.5 Thigh 2 down from crotch. 7.75 knee 15 down from crotch 7.5 cuff 30.5 inseam

So these RTW look nicer than the original $69 jeans I FINALLY received from a November order. 18.5 oz (so they say) Kuroki Mills denim. But white thread and silver hardware.
I thought they would be copper hardware on the original site which now can't be viewed. Does anyone remember?
With that said they came in on spec. I ordered 35x33 slim straights. Fit great and loosened up in the thighs really in the first wear.
Very large weft and warp. Leather patch was fine although it's not very firm leather.
At first they didn't impress me but they're definitely comfortable
Pictures to follow

My son says light brown. Maybe it's what they listed as topaz?
Fwiw the fit is great for me. But RTW doesn't offer a 35. And they don't feel as heavy as the Gustin American 16er which is a much denser weave. They pretty soft out of the box. Gonna wear em to tonight's Padres game even though it's 75 and humid. I always get compliments on my Okayama Standards. We'll see if anyone says anything about these.

Looks like it could be the khaki maybe as the topaz thread is brighter but then again the pic is a bit dull so i could be a donkey

I don't think it's topaz. Do you recall the original "specs" of the "$69" jeans? Which thread and buttons?

I think it looks like standard "orange" wich is abit brown...or it is brown wich also does look a little orange.

I dont have time to write a review, but basically this shirt is amazing. It came in a little small and long so my plan of shrinking it to fit didnt work out so good. I managed to shring it some by hotsoaking and tumbling until almost dry and then puting it on and stretching it and then hang dry. Its still too long, but wearable now (shrunk some in the length). All seems and shit are kinda perfect, pockets are really nice, lined with canvas. Openings for hands is too narrow tho, so cant scrunch them up, but can flap them back. The shirt is 12oz so not made for heat anyways. I didnt get my brown fisheye buttons but the metal buttons insetad that I chose just because the brown werent a choice atm. rest of the customization is there - oregon shirt with omaha pockets, brown thread, brown pocket lining. Length did not get custom. Here a bad photo but better representation of the length: (here you can also see it strains a little on the top buttoned button.) Hot sexy hot runoffs with naughty gussets: Sorry for sunlight pic...but lotsa selvadge:
