Pretty sure this entire forum is NSFW or at least I would treat it as such. I would say, this is not "entirely" true. I work in a construction trade. I would be ridiculed for not sharing. That being said, I would not post content unsuitable for viewing by all.

it's popped up a few more times than expected in the office. I see what you did there.

So after waiting 5 months before I found out they were out of the Kaihara denim, I was asked to pick out something else. Kahla said I could go with the Candiani indigo/indigo instead, in which I agreed. After another month or so, what I received was something with a standard looking white weft, with a hint of brown? Also, there is not a selvedge edge in the garment whatsover, so Its not apparent this is even selvedge denim.
At least now I can be done with LD, as this is the last item I was waiting on!!!!!!!

If ever there was an indication that they've stopped trying.. Seriously, though.. if they're going to take so long to produce orders they need to get them perfect. Otherwise, why take so damn long if you're just going to ship out garbage anyway? I'd mention this to Kahla.. this is unjustifiable. If it's just a mistake, the least that's happened is that you've got someone else's order.

That sucks. Even though it could mean more waiting. I would reach out to Lawless and see what they can do. Unless you will be happy wearing what you have. Do they fit?

Its the Heritage Vest, and its a tad big, but I usually wear my vests over a shirt, so it will work. its not that I don't like the denim, its that they just send people stuff with little, or no regard. At this point, its not worth anymore hassle to me, and am probably going to gravitate over to IH, and spend more money, but be totally happy with their products, as others here have done.

To be fair I don't see any selvedge lines in the website pics. Good looking vest though. My denim shirts really tightened up with a soak. I also did a gentle machine wash in cold recently and I am glad as they were a little loose at first but perfect now. Don't use a dryer though unless you really want to shrink. . Pics would be great.

For sure, the mistake they made on your shirt, was over the top. Even though I'm certain the vest isn't indigo/indigo, I'm not positive it isn't the Kaihara that I originally ordered, and they said they were out of. Certainly not worth anymore hassle, and it will get worn, so all is well, and live and learn.

Ferrariofdenim should be a hash tag.. let's get a meme started

Winterland, where do you see the vest on the website? I can't find it and they seem to have moved things around and eliminated a few more items.

Its actually a great rigid denim to be fair. I would be happy with it even though i would still be disappointed with the obvious.

Thanks Winterland, I think my computer has a bastard version of the LD site archived in history. Weird. Your link works great but I cant get there from the site on my own. Good looking vest. Not sure what to say about the selvedge, I'd expect sort of hidden selvedge detail even if it wasn't shown in the pics or at least expect them to state "not selvedge denim" in the description. I guess that was just a long winded way to say +1 to what Dirty_Denim said......

While logged in I actually have fewer navigation options.

Anyone out there receive a shirt in slim large and willing to share the measurements with me? With all the wonky sizing issues I've read about I'm wondering what I should expect. Thanks in advance!

Thanks! It works out better for me if the sleeves are longer! Hope your shirt fits all right!

I received back my 8.5 oz. Japanese Dark Indigo Chambray Shirt (Shirt Style: Montana, Fit: Slim, Size: Small, Thread Color: Egyptian Topez, Black Snaps, Snaps on Cuff: Two) It originally came in about a month ago with too small of pockets. I sent back and I am happy with the fix. They seem to be positioned well and a better size in proportion to the rest of the shirt. It is the same shirt with just the pockets changed as I can see the old needle marks when looking from the inside. This will not cause any problems as you can barely see and only from the inside. The construction is spot on. Anything that looks off in the pics is just the pictures. I love the fabric. Very soft but substantial. A nice dark indigo color. That is why I went through the hassle of sending back to get right. The fabric is definitely full of indigo as it comes off on my hands. I will be doing a machine wash as I want to shrink it up a little. Will turn inside out. It fits fine but could be a bit tighter and I want to get rid of excess indigo. I am not worried about high contrast fades or any fades for this type of fabric. Ordered as a Slim Small. I asked for my other LD denim shirts to be shortened as I don't tuck them and don't like them too long. I kept this one stock length as I will be tucking the lighter fabric. Lighter compared with 14oz and 16oz denim of my other western shirts. Here are the specs before wash. Will add post wash specs later. Pit to Pit 21" Shoulders 16.75" Arms 26.5" Waist 20.5" Front 24.25 Back 28.75"

Winterland looks good. looks like you got the same fabric as some of us that also had ordered the Japanese Dark Indigo Chambray...the strange double layer twill/chambray. the exterior fabric isn't a chambray, but it does seem to be lined with a lightweight chambray. it's an interesting combo for sure...though i do dislike that we didn't get what we ordered. this is what chambray should have been:

It's coming in big everywhere. Anyone else found this with their shirts?
