I ccoked my jeans in 95 degrees celsius (thats 203F) and my LD patch looked like a fried squid so i removed it. I would never, ever, wash *any* item of clothing at 95c. I "washed" mine for 15 minutes at 30°C just to get rid of excessive starch...

You already said it ruined the leather patch, so the jeans - as a whole - really aren't 'fine' at all. Also, 95c is a level that could quite easily wash away printed information on interior labels as well. More to the point, I just have no idea why you'd ever want to wash your clothing at 95c. What are you hoping to achieve at that kind of level?

But this is actually the point. The denim and threads if done properly does stand a beating and warm wash but modern fashionstuff does not. Patch, print, even "fades" and other "dirtyness" made with color will go away.
These are my workingjeans and a patch or any print is not of interest to me, i will beat them, get oil on them, brakefluid, sawdust from poisonous wood and so on.
I want to get them clean inbetween and i want to test my LD jeans to the limit. I have lots of patches to put on later if i wish but for now they are workingpants and are treated as such.

Has anyone done a soak or wash? I did and the print (?) on my leather patch is gone! The design on my KS pair disappeared after a cold soak as well. Kinda sucks, but not a big deal. I'm not sure, but they might have changed their patches since the KS days.

My patches got wiped out after the 1st wash. My jean patch which was a very thick leather looks amazing even though it isnt legible but the shirt patch hardened like plastic on the edges

received a partial shipment today for order 747. unfortunately it has to go back...and i'm actually pretty bummed about both the logistics of that as well as bummed the item didn't work out. it was a Omaha shirt made from the Candiani Herringbone Brown Weft fabric. as everyone knows the fabric is beautiful, and the construction and sizing of the shirt is really good. the problem...is that i originally ordered it with tigers' eye snaps. a few days after ordering i had requested a change to switch to black fish eye buttons. the change was confirmed and Sal entered it into my order comments. apparently something was lost in translation. what i received was a shirt with black fish eye buttons down the front of the shirt, and tigers' eye snaps on the cuffs. (and two snap closures even though i specified one) i'm half tempted to keep it as-is...but know it would bother me to the point i'd never wear it. I just got a response from Kahla about my shirt with buttons on the front and snaps on the cuff. Just like always, the blame was shifted onto me. She said that my order instructions asked for this configuration, and referred to my order notes which read: Button: Black fish eye, Snaps on Cuff: One She said that "Our team is very detail oriented and did what you had asked in your notes." So apparently they their very detailed team interpreted the above text as: Button: Black fish eye with Snaps on Cuff. One? It's lovely that the very detailed team was not aware that there was a time wheh the formatting options on their has two selections...one for button, and one for the number of 'snaps on cuff'. It looks like that 2nd selection has since been changed on the site to 'cuff closure' in the order details. Of course what my order instructions actually indicate are: Button: Black fish eye Snaps on cuff: one My hatred of Lawless runs deep. I really wish I didn't like my jeans so much.

Damn, @david ..I wonder if LD coaches their CS team on how to respond to customers. Doesn't matter who we interact with, the message all seems to come from one person.

Its not her fault as she came in blind to what was really happening.

In JHS I dated a girl that had a best friend that seriously looked like this girl. After I broke up with my GF I sought out her friend Jaime. Needless to say I dry humped the shit out of her

this is probably not going to be a popular comment...but can we maybe stop quoting that photo over and over again? it's popped up a few more times than expected in the office.

Full disclosure, that pick is probably the best thing that's come from anything LD related in quite some time. But David makes a valid point, not quite work appropriate.

Nothing to do with the computer...rather being in the office surrounded by other people. I have no issues being on social media while my various processes run, but generally assume I won't run into much nsfw content on the typical sites I visit. Thanks for the advice though.

Pretty sure this entire forum is NSFW or at least I would treat it as such.
