wow...just tuning in (I think I've exited the quiet period of not posting on LD forums after my break-up with the brand)...echo stinky. those pockets are plain dumb. the flap is cartoonishly large compared to the visible pocket below and the snap looks massive as well.

The sleeves will shrink. Think kinda like the inseam of your pants. There is no tension to stretch the sleeve back out very similarly to the leg of your pants. Also the sleeve "stacks" around the elbow I've noticed kinda making it seemingly shorter. Give it a soak and air dry like you would do with jeans before hemming to see how the shrink is. Then reassess. Yes, good idea. I am washing it and also drying it. Hope the sleeves will react like an inseam. Let us know the results and measurements before and after.

Im wondering if they scale the pockets. Since winterlands is a medium the large pockets might have looked too big but the scaling was too aggressive. I Wonder how mine will turn out. Its on the next order tho. This is a possibility. I will ask Lawless as I haven't checked in with them yet about my shirt. My shirt is a small slim.

Here are the results from washing and drying new 1776 natural cone denim shirt. (I would not have done this with an indigo shirt.) From LD the sleeves measured 27.25". After washing and drying they shrank almost 0.25" to approx. 27.0". They are still a good 1.5" over specification and too long for me. I called LD and it's enough of a mistake that LD is willing to send me a shipping label and fix it free of alterations charges. So that's good. I'm just waiting on them to email me a PDF of the shipping label. (Insert remark about how long I should wait for a shipping label.

FWIW, I requested my return in November, and went back and forth until February when I finally received, not a shipping label, but cash through PayPal from Sal to spend on shipping my products back to LD. So you should probably look to wait up to 3 months .

Received the tan x tan today. It looks like they've either A, run out of the pink houndstooth, or B, someone doesn't know the difference between that fabric and plain ol pink canvas. To wrap up the negatives, I didn't receive contrasting color barracks as requested, but this isn't a big surprise since this was identified as one of the sticking points lawless was apparently going to stop conceding to. They did take into account changes I requested later the same week that I put in the order. The fit is exactly what I was looking for, and these slim straights fit me very similar to my slim Gustin. Ordered a 35" waist, and minimal stretch is going to be required out of the denim. I love the texture far more than the color on the tan x tan, so I'm still thinking of an overdye, but these will probably be a nice color come summer. The construction is spot-on, though they're gonna get a more thorough inspection here in a bit. I am going to reach out to them over the pocket bags, though I'm largely very satisfied. I'm going to need to give them a day or so of wear before I can really evaluate the fit, but it initially feels pretty good, maybe a little nicer fit than fresh out of the bag gustins. Edit: will provide some pics later. One thing. The Lawless buttons are small, and I'm not a fan of it. They look great, but don't feel right to me -- they are most definitely adequate, but the feel of them is a step down from the hardware Gustin uses (when it's applied properly), though I will say I like the Lawless rivets better. Here's some pictures of tan x tan. They are a bit washed out, but this is a very light fabric, and probably destined for a dye job once I get them worn in a bit. "I told you so" Pink (this is seriously strawberry ice cream): A better pic of the fly detailing, very nicely done: Cuff detail (very accurate color representation), also shows how clean the workmanship is for most of this pair: Patch and back pocket: I don't know if this picture really has anything to offer: Besides the very pink pocket bags, this was the only fabric that I wish I ordered, and would have waited for, from LD. The TanxTan is super nice, and would have gotten the denim and jacket with this fabric.

I've been waiting 3 days to get a shipping label via email and I thought of calling end-of-day tomorrow. This should be a really simple transaction. I will be optimistic and check with them tomorrow. 3-4 business days is totally reasonable to create a shipping label.

Those small buttons look like shirt buttons. Is it possible they were out of the proper buttons for the pants and substituted for those?

My dislike about the buttons is not size..... My problem is that each and every button is branded with Lawless Denim. Doesn't make a difference in a pair of jeans, but on the shirts, it can look gaudy... 7 or 8 front buttons, plus 2 pocket buttons, and double buttons on the cuffs.

Makes sense though... Now that Sal with them to keep the social media presence going, why should they continue to pay for something that won't be utilized?

Also didn't make sense to keep up as the last several pages had also been buried in delay and skepticism

And I wouldn't be surprised if an order came down from up top for no one to post on forums anymore, just like I believe happened with Gustin when the sizing issues started last year. An ignore the problem until it goes away type of solution.

No jokes there. Last August Lawless looked like they were really gonna do great things. Didn't exactly happen that way.

I got 2 out of 4 items in the 298-something order today. * Omaha Camel wool checker, navy thread, black fisheye buttons. Regular Large Is thick and nice, feels premium. A little itchy. * Oregon Japan dark chambray, navy thread, black snaps. Regular Large Feels thick and substantial!! Feels like a workshirt - great! I actually ordered the Omaha as an oregon with omaha pockets but am now happy they didnt give me that customization beacause now I can see the difference of the 2. Pro Oregon is tripple stitching with runoff, but con is a little slightly wierd fit with smaller in the chest and looser in the waist. Pro Omaha is that the fit is nicer imho on me. Its a very small detail, but I think I will get the Omaha next time. I think they fit good. I also think they are within spec but its a little hard to measure the length (that I customized) because I dont know where they measure from, since its a collar waistband. I have gone through the shirts all over and they are good made I think, some loose threads but not too bad. Only 2 errors - under the arms the cross isnt straight. One is straight and one is not - same on both shirts. It doesnt show and I cant tell that it impacts the drape in any way. So best place to have it i think. Fit: (sorry for bad pics here, Im not a selfie-ninja) errors: Other side is perfect.... Some pics of the construction:

Interesting Griffin. As you know with jackets, both types of underarm stitching are legit, but not mixed on the same garment! They look nice though so unless they feel odd, I'd not sweat it. Hopefully they get that worked out.

Hopefully they get that worked out. for me personally those would be minor issues, expecting unimpeachable perfection from a start up company (in the Early November price range) would be a pipe dream, so if they can manage overall good quality with some minor issues (as long as those are undisturbing) would be perfectly ok (it's just recently that I've been told to expect a Ferrari when I actually ordered a Pontiac ...)

Griffin, I think the chambray shirt looks great. Nice choice. I like the other one as well, but not as much as the chambray one.
