Wash won't happen for months, I'll try to remember..
These are custom fit, in a sense. 34" waist, 27" thighs (at crotch), A bit under 12" front rise, don't know the back, wearing them right now don't want to take off to measure LOL

Are these an old fit chart spec? I ordered mine w/the understanding the front rise was 11" (size 36 reg). Can't do more than that

Those were all options on the old site. I made the mistake of selecting mid rise on my Tan/Tan and it is just a little annoying, but the construction is spot on and it was my error in choosing mid without knowing what I was doing.

Quick report in - I picked up three pairs of my LD (2 from the KS and a 3rd from a promo offer) - ended up with the following: - 12 oz. Kaihara Organic - Egyptian Topaz threading, copper/black buttons, classic pockets, slim-straight fit (KS) - 13 oz. Left hand twill weave - tonal thread, black buttons, classic pockets, slim-straight (KS) - 13 oz. Candiani indigo - dark wheat (?) thread, copper/black buttons, classic pockets, slim-straight fit (promo)
First impressions - the fit of all three is spot on. It's consistent across all three fabrics. And in comparison to my 18.5 LDs, the fit across all 4 is perfect. I appreciate that once they have your specs, they can craft your perfect pair. I was super excited to finally get these and quite honestly, it was worth the wait.
The organic and candiani are both very soft denims, not a lot of starch to the weave. The left hand is going to break in nicely, it's got a bit of starchiness to the feel until they settle in.
Overall, I'm excited to have denim with the perfect inseam right from the shop, so no soaking to derail my fade development.
Last thought - while I'm more closely aligned with the company given my location, I do have to say that I'm impressed by the consistency. We all know how slammed they are right now, but it doesn't impact the construction. From my first jacket to my 18.5's to my latest batch, they are all consistent with stitching, fit and overall quality.
I'll post up some pictures this weekend.

After many months of waiting, I received my 9.5oz chambray, and 15oz slub Montana. First of all, I have no pictures, but possibly after some wear, I'll get my wife to assist me with that. There are pictures a few pages back of the chambray, and BigBlacks 15oz, and they really do look the same.
Both shirts sewed up a little larger than spec, so I did a hot soak, and hot dry, and they both fit pretty darn good. I am not anal about construction like some, and some of the stitching wavers a bit, here and there, but for what these cost, they are certainly a bargain. I ordered the Montana with tiger eye snaps, and it came with black, but they go well with the shirt, and I'll be happy to take it as is.
I think that both of these shirts will become epic over time, with fading, and break in. They fit well, for an out of the box shirt. The folks that want their shirts "perfect" will do well with going the measured pattern route. I'd have to say, all in all, I am very happy with these.

The denim is good, the construction is good. The plaid pocket bags/liners are an awesome touch. I don't know if the selvage coin pocket was an option, That selvedge coin pocket is standard. lawless detailsI do see that on the order page, there are three fit pics and you can't see that selvedge pocket detail. And it will stick out a bit more with the dark pair you ordered. It seems they all put a selvedge detail somewhere. A little flag for people to wave and recognize their brahs out in public. Gooble Gobble Gooble Gobble One of us! I will say that I like their placement more than the Gustin belt loop or the other companies that do some weird peak-a-boo selvedge on the coin pocket. that just looks like a mistake They seem to be less open to custom details lately, but ask if they can change it for next order...whenever that may be.

Alright, so I received my four KS jeans several weeks ago but I'm just now getting to my review. I ordered the following all with copper thread and black copper buttons in a size 35x34 straight.
-18.5 oz Kuroki Indigo -13.5 Kaihara Light Indigo -14 oz Nihon Menpu Grey -14.2 oz Nihon Menpu IndigoxBrown
The fabric on all of these are great, really dig them. My only complaint on the fabrics is that the weft on the IndigoxBrown is not brown....at all. Is misleading to refer to this fabric as IndigoxBrown and they should change the name to just Indigo. Either way, its still a nice fabric.
The construction itself is very good as others have stated, however, all four of my pairs were off from the fit guide in the waist and inseam. My waists were all 1-2" too small and every pair had an inseam below 34". One was close at about 33 3/4" but one came in a whole inch short at 33" (my 18.5 Kurokis) and the other two were 1/2-3/4" too short.
I can still fit in to my jeans but overall I'm not in love with the Lawless straight fit. They aren't terrible but they don't fit me as well as my GUSTINs. They are all just sitting in my drawer right now.
Overall I am not satisfied. I waited roughly six months for four pairs of jeans that weren't sewn up correctly in the waist and inseams, plus the fit is not great. My first shirt was also sewn up strangely but thankfully I was able to sell it.
At this point I will not be ordering any more jeans from Lawless. As for shirts I will wait and see how my others turn out.

Not trying to say you did anything wrong, just asking for frame of reference.

yes. I measured the waist and inseam the way GUSTIN demonstrates on their fit guide.

yes. I measured the waist and inseam the way GUSTIN demonstrates on their fit guide. if the waist measures between 16.75 and 17.25 across on the grey, I might be interested in them, if you're considering selling.

Thats not cool at all, but have you asked LD how long it could take to redo them? I bet it will not take 6 months.

all four of my pairs were off from the fit guide in the waist and inseam. bummer, man. That's a long wait for disappointment. If the fit isn't good, then totally sick fabric doesn't matter. Hopefully we don't get a string of these bad fits.

Sal stated my shirt should ship out today. He saw it and liked it. The fit guide changing multiple times doesn't help anyone customers or cutter or sewer. Also options changing doesn't help either.
I do think Lawless is getting more consistent which is very good. Hopefully it fits per the fit guide Large. I'm excited.

Ickes - that really sucks. I also have the brown wefts and agree they're not brown at all and it was misleading. They're off white at best. I also had errors in that I changed my order to slim straight but received the relaxed straight in the brown wefts. My free pair came in the right fit but they used the wrong color hardware. I'm waiting on another pair of jeans and a jacket for my wife and hope they're correct.
I think they should redo everything for you correctly.

I know you've been pulling for LD. My lone pair of LD are also straight fit. When I first put them on, my first impression was anyone needing a more athletic cut may have issues. I, myself, have a fuller thigh and backside. But, my workout regimen is strictly for tone, not adding mass. The fit is perfect for me. Do you believe you may get a better fit with a more athletic cut ?

I could take it at the beginning as it was new and fun hanging and chatting with you guys, but I've grown tired of it all to be honest. What I want now I may not want in 2-3 months, and to have it come in wrong, well, hell no. For the record, my LD jeans came in perfect.

That's why you order one pair. To dial in your size. Of course I didn't do this either, I've got 6 shirts coming at some point (one or two should be here within an hour!!! Gotta get to the mail man before my wife

Being you waited this long you should contact Lawless and get things straightened out. A good test of customer service.

As long as there's not much Price Creep (as long as a pair of jeans or a shirt stays under $80 including our 50% off).

Being you waited this long you should contact Lawless and get things straightened out. A good test of customer service. Well besides the fact that the waists are smaller than I wanted and the inseams too short, the part I don't like about the fit is in the top block. It's strange because it feels to me as if there is hardly any difference in pitch from the back to front rise. when I have them on it feels as if the waist band sits at the same height (or level) all the way around my waist. Second, there seems to be a strange bulge in the seat of the jeans going on. Not necessarily a saggy ass look that you get when your posterior can't fill in your jeans, but more of a pointed bulge that sticks straight out right from the center of the rear. I contacted LD immediately about my KS jeans and I have never heard back. This was weeks ago when I first received them. Yes, it was only one attempt I admit, but at this point I'm kind of over it and don't feel like going through another 8-12 week wait minimum to try and fix it.
