Hey, @untucked.. just a headsup about the tan/tan.. it's an absolutely beautiful fabric (actually wearing the pants today) but gets dirty pretty easily. Wabisabi potential, I guess At the LD price point, I wouldn't shed a tear! Unless it's some super crazy ds fabric

Wabisabi potential, I guess At the LD price point, I wouldn't shed a tear! Unless it's some super crazy ds fabric I have chinos and the utility jacket coming in this. It does look like it will get crazy dirty. I might end up waxing the jacket right off the get go.

Those WS's are badass guys! Wish it was a look that could work for me. Living vicariously through these photo reviews until my jeans rock up

They look good. Could pass as a dress pant...maybe. They look dark but pretty sure it's the light. Better color representation

After numerous bumped ETAs, finally received one of my two KS pairs today. I was an early backer for one of the eight pairs of black broken weave with black selvedge ID. Unfortunately, the pair I received are not that denim. It is a red white ID and not broken weave. Looks like it's the other Japanese black that was offered later in the campaign. Bummer as I really wanted that limited denim and was my whole reason for backing. I have a note out to Roman on it. My guess is that denim is long gone though with only 8 pairs available. Oh well. I'll write it off as a donation to an upstart. (Not literally as a tax write off, obviously, just figuratively.) This pair doesn't float my boat so will likely eBay or something depending on what I hear from LD.

Fit pictures of my Lawless slim taper chino in 12 OZ. CANDIANI HERRINGBONE BROWN WEFT (aka. Gustin Postal Herringbone). My legs are short, so this style of pants are not necessary the most idea for my body type. Please just pay attention to the fit. (I don't like wear high waist pant with the length cut right on the top of my shoes.) Anyway, I wear them the first time today and feel the fabric is heavier than 12oz. I already got two compliments from people in the office... except I don't suppose to wear jeans/work boots to work on Monday. (hiding) Very nice. Looks like a good fit to me.

@untucked, that light colored workshirt is excellent! Nailed the fit too. I would be on the fence about waxing vs no. The light color will get really dirty, but if you were to wax it, it would darken anyway. No matter, that's a badass shirt.
@wils, Those pants are nice. Got a "new site" order with the custom pattern option in from last November for some skinnys for my GF that I put "on hold" until we see our KS stuff. That fabric looks great in jeans. Looking forward to seeing how her pair turns out. Yours look good and I'm super curious about the fade progression.

Corresponded with Roman and he's having me send them back with assurances to make it right. That works for me. Waited this long. Might as well wait some more to get it right.

Might as well wait some more to get it right. Do they fit at least? They are made to the sizing chart exactly. I used KS to try out the slim straight fit and found it's not for me. Thus, with Roman agreeing to get me the correct denim and needing to make them again anyway, I'm changing to the straight fit. The slim straight ended up being way too much on the "skinny jean" side for my taste (or rather body.)

Initially i ignored the post, and nowi can't find it with his link directly to the product

Hey, @untucked.. kakishibu renders the cloth water repellant and nearly waterproof. I think after you dye the workshirt you may find waxing it is unnecessary. It's pretty cool to see the water just bead up on the surface of the fabric.

Initially i ignored the post, and nowi can't find it with his link directly to the product I got two liters...still looking for something to dye and then find a way to secure it in the sun. Shouldn't be too bad. kakishibu (should work this time)I asked around and nobody here is familiar with it. Also asked an old construction project manager from mainland. Dude must be around 70 and if he doesn't know where to get it or what it is...then it must not be that common. I assume it is the real deal etc, but maaaaaaaaan, what do I know? It dyed a handkerchief brownish. From what I read, leaving in the sun and multiple coats is important. I also snagged this overpriced goddamn zippo lighter that I couldn't live without Eat You Zippoand I got this one on sale somehow when I ordered for cheap cutey skull scored at 1200 yen!

@rex.. I'm sure you've seen @stevekas ' thread where he dyed his naturals, yeah? He had a really well thought out process for dying his naturals and documented the project in great detail. Go for it!

I seen that, it looked like he had space and a yard (if I remember correctly). Apartment living is awesome, but there are some drawbacks. I can't just spill crap everywhere and stain the concrete. I will get it figured out one of these days. I also still need something to dye. My latest lawless order doesn't have any candidates and I don't know if I want to start down the road of another 3 month wait. I don't have many options. OK...one of these days, I will order the lawless naturals...one of these days.

@rex, just get some cheap ass poly film on a roll and cover your floor and start soaking stuff man. I did my stuff on the deck of my apartment and the pigment got everywhere on the deck. It sucked to clean up. Next time, poly film. Tape the seams. No screwing around scrubbing up the drips. The sun part will require a trip outside though. @untucked and wisdom, While it might be overkill from a practical standpoint, Kakishibu + waxing might look pretty cool. I've got some Otter Wax laying around here, just no suitable clothing victims.

Well, I know all of you have been DYING to hear my review I got the jeans today, after 16 weeks of waiting. They came with a note thanking me for my patience. I was really paranoid that I would be getting something cut incorrectly, however everything seems just fine I did not measure them, but they fit well, so I am assuming they are to spec The denim is good, the construction is good. The plaid pocket bags/liners are an awesome touch. I don't know if the selvage coin pocket was an option, if it was, I must have missed it, because I'd never order jeans with it..but it's OK, I'm not upset. Overall, I just wish the customer service aspect of Lawless was better. I realize they have been swamped, and that's my biggest complaint. tl;dr jeans are good, im happy in the end, wish it didnt take this long. would be into ordering more once production times are more feasible.

Damn, I'm only 8 weeks in. Guess I might have to hope that the Easter Bunny brings my shirt. Glad you like them - my jeans are likewise awesome.

What size, fit and fabric did you order? If we could get some measurements that would be great. Especially before and after if you wash them. We are so demanding. They look nice.
