Hopefully this latest going dark is just a blip, as they've always been quick to respond, even last week.
But I've noticed this week they're not online and haven't responded to an email. But it's an indication of how good they were that a two day delay is so unusual.
Hopefully they're on holiday or finalising that LA factory.

Try calling. I called on Tuesday but kept on getting voicemail. I'm not based in the US, so it's difficult for me to call them. Hopefully they give me a reply by this weekend. If not I have to call my credit card company to void this transaction.

From what people have been saying, they haven't been on online chat in quite some time.

I've been checking in on this from time-to-time, it's how I found out about Lawless. I just wanted to post my experience:
I ordered a pair on October 6 with no adjustment to measurements. The slim cut with a 34" and a 32" inseam in the 11 oz cone mill stretch fabric. The order confirmation said 6-8 weeks for delivery. I waited about six weeks without any update, where I reached out just before Thanksgiving to check on status. I was told they were running two weeks behind on orders, but given some kind of assurances it was being done.
I asked for another status around December 7, I was given vague assurances, but no actual confirmation of where my denim was in the process. On December 14 (nearly 10 weeks out) I asked to cancel. I received no response to this. On December 16 I again asked to cancel, saying I would call my credit card company to dispute the charge at this point. I didn't get a response until a few days before Christmas. Again, the person from Lawless just skipped over my request to cancel, gave me vague assurances, but no actual status.
Right after Christmas I called my credit card company and disputed the charge, I was given a refund through them. I sent Lawless an email saying inasmuch without a response. Flash forward three weeks into January, a package arrived at my work in a USPS bag with no order number, no details, no sizing. Curious, I tried them on — it's either definitely not my order or my order was cut really wrong. The measurements of the denim I got:
Waist: 32" Hem: 32" Front Rise: 9.75" Rear Rise: 12.75" Thigh ~2" from crotch: 9.5" Knee: 8" Leg Opening: 7.25"
I can hardly button them. The fabric also seems different (aesthetically) and doesn't really stretch at all.

So my order from 10/28 (old site) is now out for delivery. It's a Montana shirt in the 5oz San Juan Blue Pendleton. Pics when I get my grubby mitts on it.

I guess this is more of a review of the shirts I don't have, but should have from LDs own verbage. It was posted at the beginning of the month by Sal, that only 25 shirts remained from the old site, and they would be done by the weeks end. I requested that the "finished shirt" from my order be sent, and I'll wait for the others. Since that request, there has been no response from Sal, Jim, Laura, Roman, of anyone else at LD. At 16 weeks now, and not digging the radio silence from Arizona.
I have refrained from posting concerning orders, but when LD stops answering e-mails, and shuts off their phones, it rustles my feathers.

Either you need to just sit back and wait, or cancel your items and sit out of the game until everything has caught up (what I did with both Gustin and LD), or just leave the game entirely. After all this wait, and delays after delays, not sure how one can give a fair assessment when they receive the product. And it'll be unforgivable if they don't fit. There will not, by any means, be a fair assessment. I want what I paid for, thats a silly concept is it not? Absolutely you are entitled to what you paid for. I'm just wondering if items you are no longer excited for is worth receiving rather than getting your money back. Is this your first venture into raw denim?

Guys - again - this space is for reviews. If you have questions, issues or other order-related questions, please contact the vendor(s).
We are happy to have space for them and you to talk, but the forum is not for this purpose. Future posts on orders issues just get deleted - regarding any vendor.

At this point, maybe Belopsky's idea about starting an LD gripe thread would be appropriate

No, I've been doing the raw denim thing since 2005/2006. The ONLY, and I mean, ONLY, reason Lawless was interesting to me was because they said they could alter the cuts to fit my thighs.

Granted, the forum has guidelines/rules, but the ability to share common issues and concerns, which are in essence reviews, helps people deal with this ongoing problem. Food for thought...

nevermind...edited because it wasn't really a review. here is a review. I like my one pair of lawless. They are very jeanie and the leather patch is embossed and boss. There is an eagle on it! I am like, zOMG! I hope these shipping and such things get ironed out because my latest order has me excited. Maybe knowing it will takes a time will help the time pass.

I'd also just say with regards ordering something custom, a review of service is a component to the review of the product, but it's a fine line between complaining about your ordering and reviewing the service you got once the product is in hand.

(also what I ordered for one of my pairs) even with a couple of the coincidences i doubt that sort of mix up has taken place.

I've let them stand, but no more. You can complain to the vendors. The reason for this is that we have no way in hell of knowing who's legitimately ordered, when they ordered, etc. We all know that there are trolls and shills online. I've seen this in every single forum I frequent/mod/lurk in. There are people set out to do harm, and then there's the rest of us trying to share, learn, and help each other. Fine lines. So, again, you guys can question it, but we're not going to turn a thread into a giant multi-page rant. Some have already posted essentially the same gripe more than once. So please, help us by using some self-restraint here guys.

I have the same ones in slim, and I too wish they were regular cut. My Gustin are regular and I like the feeling on the butt more - that is, less butt showing when I bend over. Otherwise, they are both about equal overall - one is better in some aspects and vice-versa. There's no doubt though that the denim is super.

Jeffrx: what did a 38 measure based off their specs?

Jeffrx: what did a 38 measure based off their specs? Basically, the measurements conform to the fit guide of a slim straight which is what I ordered, except for these: Waist, should be 38, it's 36 when loose and I can tug on it a little to get it to 37, so I guess it's 37. The inseam - I ordered 34, got 33 Thigh - measures smaller than the spec by a couple of inches, so is very tight. I feel like a male hooker wearing them. My overall feeling is that I would give LD another shot once things settle down. I also have 2 WS on order, so I hope to have luck with them. Another issue was that I had sent Sal a message to change the patch to the plain patch and to change from a slim straight to a regular fit. This was about 6 weeks ago. I never felt confident that my changes would be made, but he told me he would pass the message to Roman. Apparently Roman never received the message. This has happened to others as well. I do not hold this against them, but it could have been handled. Again, I must say that if these jeans did fit, they would be great. They are just too small on me and that's why I will hopefully find them a suitable home. For now, e-bay is their home. I got these on the old site before the 50% off, so I will try to get the $$$ back.

Thigh - measures smaller than the spec by a couple of inches, so is very tight. jeffrx are you sure the thigh measurement is off by a couple of inches? that's a huge difference for a thigh measurement, especially if the other measurements are closer to spec for a 38...it's something you'd likely be able to notice just looking at the jeans (the thighs would look silly small compared to the top block and lower portion of the jeans). i think the current difference between largest and skinniest cuts might only be .5", and from the KS specs possibly 1.5" (there have been too many different size charts)

The fit guide says, I believe, 25.5 inches. It does not look awkward or silly, it's just tight on me and outside of the guide. Right AT the crotch it's 25", but it's supposed to be 25.5" a couple of inches below the crotch. I'm not bashing LD and like I said, I'd try them again. I'm just telling you guys what I got.
