Usually while I am there she will package and send 25 to 50 depending on what is ready to go. With what she has now I would say she will get more out because its there waiting. We had Xmas break as you know so Laura spent time with her family as did I . Of course we also had the New year so it pushed shipping packages back as you know USPS was closed as well. I am sorry for you because I know you only want your stuff. You should be getting ship notice soon. i believe David has already Moderated Cleaned up a few posts about specific members LD orders. We would rather keep these discussions to PM unless they benefit the other members. Thanks Winterland

Since that was my goal in supporting Kickstarter projects and Gustin (crowd-funding type stuff, the goal was regaining patience) I'm sort of proud of myself. In any case, I'm looking forward to Lawless killing it in 2015 after all you've learned in 2014. I'm assuming since there's something like 900 orders between my first and second, there will likely be plenty of time to adjust those if the fit is way off for me (orders 116, which seems to be cutting from your last update, 1018, and 1811)?

As the data gets compiled, it should result in fewer "when's my order" type questions.

A new week. Lets hope we get our shipping confirmations! This will go a long way with credibility. Per LD's posts, they have 25 shirts to ship last week, and they can handle 25-50 on a given day, so we'll see.

I will try to gather as much as I can. I believe 30 plus KS orders were packaged yesterday and today with another 10 or 12 old site orders I saw shipped yesterday as well. I made a post in New Arrivals with some names that are being packaged

So what's up with this chain stitch on the waist band of my 18.5 oz kurokis? I thought chain stitching couldn't come undone?

Sometimes a customer deserves to be told to fugg off. And the Yelp thing has been discussed ad nauseum. Anonymous online reviews esp on Yelp are worthless. Yelp is widely known to be an unreliable source as well as found guilty of shenanigans. I avoid reading Yelp reviews on anything after that.

I totally agree that some customers can not be satisfied no matter what. However, this same Yelp reviewer lodged a complaint against Lawless with the Better Business Bureau therefore it is not an "anonymous" review/complaint. Now I know not everyone likes the BBB, and most don't understand how it works, but Lawless was afforded the opportunity to respond to the formal complaint and they chose not to. Of course, they did formally respond to him on Yelp (therefore acknowledging that the complaint was not a figment of someone's imagination) where they refused to refund him his purchase price for a garment HE NEVER RECEIVED.

I received two shipping notifications from Lawless yesterday. I have no idea what they are, probably my KS jeans, and I am anxious and excited to get these in my hands. Will post reviews upon arrival.

I can also file a lawsuit over anything I want. A BBB or yelp (I use and generally like the BBB) complaint as I said, is meaningless in and of itself. I've seen enough on the forums to know that: 1) vendors make mistakes 2) some clients are dicks 3) sometimes a middle ground can not be found - that's why we have courts. What I have seen with LD is lots of growing pains. Lots of wanting to get to point Z before going from A-F-K first. But they are trying, and they are here trying to explain the situation - not hiding from it. I can tolerate mistakes. I can tolerate delays. I can't tolerate lies and unreasonable people. I know nothing about the guy who posted the yelp and BBB complaints. I don't care - there will be people that LD can't satisfy. Some deserve to be mad, others are going to just be the aforementioned asswipes. I judge based on a history and the number of unhappy folks. As we've seen with Gustin, the line is growing. LD might end up in the same place. But I will rely upon places like this for my info - a jury of my peers so to speak.

I would like to help while I am there Sal, while you are at it, can you figure out why the seam came loose in the first place? Frankly, many members including myself don't have the time to deal with issue like this. Thanks and it seems likes my order is coming too.

Seems that this can happen on all jeans. I have had it happen on my IronHearts and my G Okayamas. I just snapped it off and put superglue there. Has held up.

Once a single piece of thread breaks in a chain stitch, it's gonna unravel. It's just the nature of the stitch itself. As others have said, its not really a "practical" stitch, but denim folk jones over it for various reasons. As far as how/why the stitch popped, that could be a slew of reasons, and based on our community and the perceived "best practice" of sizing down on raw denim, I would make the assumption that a popped thread in the waistband would come from jeans being tight and forced to stretch too fast. Could be wrong, but that's just $0.02 from someone you didn't even ask, lol
