It looks great, and I don't see how you could/would want it any slimmer - fit is spot on from the pic. Thanks for the review. I'm dying to get mine! It's not nearly as tight on me as a Gustin M oxford. I like tight shirts, not going to lie.

Montana Shirt Review: Fabric: I thought I originally ordered nihon menpu gray and confirmed this via email with Roman. The shirt showed up in Candiani N-Gine, which despite my pics and the lawless IG pic is a medium/light blue denim. That said I have nothing like this in my closet and it still satisfies my desire for a shirt that can be worn with dark indigo denim. Not much weft show through, slubbiness or texture, but more of a nice refined look. Details: The snaps feel like quality items, better than some expensive western shirts I have. The stitching is perfect everywhere and the selvedge placket detail is nice. I'm also digging the leather patch in the shirt, very nice. No chain stitch runoff, but my wife and mother made fun of that on my Gustin work shirt. Fit: Not sure if this came in slim as confirmed via email. Sal, would it say on the tag? If not, the regular L size is a better fit than Gustin's L Slim. It could be slightly trimmer and still fit, but looks damn good as is. Value: A solid buy at the current $89, a steal at the $69 I paid and highway robbery at $45 on sale. Nobody is making higher quality items right now with better fabrics for prices even approaching Lawless. The old site and change process was confusing as hell so I'm not holding that against them. Great to see some other LD shirts reviewed. Glad to hear fit is good.

usctroll shirt does look good. I didn't think I was a denim shirt guy but I think I'll give it a shot once my other lawless shirt comes in to confirm my size,

usctroll, that looks like a great fit. Is it a large? And you wear a Gustin Medium?

usctroll, killer fit on that Lawless shirt! Would you mind posting the measurements on that shirt? I received my Blackwatch shirt in a Large classic fit and it's too damn small for me, not gonna work. The shirt itself is awesome but Sal and I are trying to figure out if they messed up some measurements on mine or if I really do need an XL.

ickes, is the large Lawless comparable to the 40 Taylor Stitch? My 40 Taylor Stitch shirt is slightly big on me now and I ordered a Classic Medium in Lawless.

Esp if you're going to get an XL! I may end up with a kids shirt... I hate to bug Sal/Roman, but I will be crushed if the Montana comes in the size of Rhode Island...

I went with XL slim although I don't have it so I can't tell you if it fits or not.

Thanks for the info.

Neck: 17" Shoulder: 19" Sleeve: 36" Chest: 44.5" Waist: 42" Length: 30" Pretty similar to a Gustin L Slim in most respects. And definitely more in line with the Lawless slim than regular.

Looking at the fit charts again, the Slim Large and Regular Medium are identical except for the shoulder measurement. Hoping the Regular Medium I ordered works (see what I did there?)

usctroll the shirt looks great. did i read correctly that both of your jeans and shirts arrived differently than expected (fabric and/or construction details)? i assume you're keeping both, did you contact LD to inquire about any potential mix-ups? i agree that fit is paramount, and that some don't mind about certain variances...but i'm not sure i could overlook receiving products that were different than what i ordered.
