@rex not sure if you've seen, but moving forward the rear pockets will be larger since everyone agreed the old design was a bit too small. i'll put up with the smaller rear pockets for the added comfort (hand insertion) and utility (size/durability) of the front pockets.

Those small back pockets and coin pocket are kind of a drag. Dirty Denim...is there an option for larger pockets? whoops...just noticed the post above

Glad LD has updated the back pockets. They look way too small next to the Gustins.

The selvedge on the back pockets is not the default option, correct?
I really, really don't like the look of it and don't remember choosing it on the pair I ordered (new site).

now I wait for my ciano farmers to get here and stuff. They are a little higher in price, but I am expecting good things out of them. I got a pair of the Cianos. I got the regular non-slim pair, and they didn't work for me as the front rise was a whopping 12.5"! They were otherwise great though, and thankfully they let me return them in exchange for a pair of their slims w/a more reasonable front rise of 10.8"

Well, looks like the pockets are going to be bigger now. Sorry, there is a lot of material here and I didn't go through all of it...and I am trying not to. Boards like this make me spend money on stuff I don't need.

Yes correcto mundo, pockets have been adjusted. I wouldn't say we made them as large as Gustins but thats part of their design and part of why i like the way the LD jeans look from behind. I have 2 jeans from us now and both have a different pocket size. The larger one is perfect while the smaller pocket is still fine but def to small for my phone. Either way it needed to be fixed and has been adjusted

18.5 oz Kuroki Old Site Review Fabric: Crazy thick compared with my 120z stuff and a ton of weft show through to go with strong diagonal patterning on the indigo warp. It's comfy, though, I wore them for a full day without feeling uncomfortable. Details: Literally none of the changes I confirmed with Roman were made to these pants so they came exactly as ordered. Tonal thread is a good look with the fabric, but I wish they had the normal back pockets instead of the selvedge detail which is a bit over the top. The double chain stitch hem isn't perfectly straight, but as good as Gustin. I love the triple stitch inseam and the fancy edge binding on the fly as others have already mentioned. The thick veg tanned patch is really cool. Fit: These are 33 straights, but are easily slimmer than a 33 Gustin slim. They fit exactly like my favorite pair of $250 Travellers in 32 slim straight and I'm thrilled. If you're ordering just double check because the fits are nothing like Gustin or some others. Value: Insane value. Great fabric and strong details even at full price on this pair. They're such a good value that the confirmed then not delivered changes doesn't sting too badly. I'll order another pair before the sale ends, this time with Kevlar for riding. Pics in the next post. Yep, me faves. Both LD and Gustin's. 75% of my wear time. Wore the Beasts last night as it got chilly here. Awesome jeanses.

For what it's worth my wallet fits fine in the Lawless small pocket. Don't mind it and doesn't make my ass look big.

I think Gustin's back pockets are a little too big, so somewhere between the old Lawless and that should be ideal. Goldilocks pocket. yo.

I agree, my wallet slants way too much in the G. Funny thing is, they are not exactly the same size on all pants from them. Some like the ixi are huge and others like the naturals are kinda small. The old LD makes it stick up half an inch so Im very much looking forward to the new ones on my upcoming 18.5oz.

I'm too paranoid to carry a wallet in my back pocket. I'd always be checking if its still there, or if it's slipping out. When i carry anything its just a card holder in my front pocket.

Guys carry their wallets in their wallets in their back pockets? Isn't it uncomfortable when sitting? I've always carried mine in the front

I keep a bifold wallet in one back pocket and a Blackberry Passport in the other. I kind of need large back pockets.
DD - Are new site orders being made with the larger pockets?

I actually made an executive decision and have all back pockets being made the same size as the coin pocket. This way nobody places their wallet in their back pocket any longer. On a serious note we have made the adjustment to larger back pockets.

I was always told that larger pockets make your butt look smaller...and smaller pockets make your butt look bigger. This is why "mom jeans" have the world's largest pockets. This was pointed out to me in the late 90's while in the high school. After that, I noticed the trend of the pockets shrinking on women's jeans because big butts are "cool." It has now gotten to the point where they totally eliminated all back pocket for maximum butt. Check it out next time you are out and about...yeah...as if you weren't already looking! I don't care if that is where cooties originates. Booty booty booty yeaaaaaaaaaaaah boyeeee! more specifically...that. I kinda miss the quirky 90's. The old lawless small back pockets make my butt look big...ok...my big butt makes itself look big, but whatever. On a serious note, I, for one, welcome our new coin pocket overlords. My front pockets are full. In the left I have keys, coin pouch and a peepers puppets I call "riggatoni handolini" ( www.peeperspuppet.com/ true story) and the right pocket has a cell phone with a zippo in the coin pocket. The wallet is too full of stuff I need to live so it is relegated to the back right pocket forever and ever (left rear pocket is for bandana...a necessity when your beard is a food magnet) I envy the minimalist wallet people. I could never live like that. I work with a guy that has nothing on his desk other than his computer. You wouldn't even know someone works there even though he does work there.

I definately need larger pockets.
I got some new flanell cosy-pants for xmas and took them up and was like: - "hey, these are way way too big for me" just look at them, its the size of the side of a barn!"
GF went into my closet and brought back a pair of jeans (happened to be the loomies) she layed them flat and layed the flanells over them and omg they actually looked almost too small!!!! so she was like: - "still thik they are too big?" " you know how fat you have gotten?
I was like...um...now you open your presents!
So - yes to bigger pockets!

Montana Shirt Review: Fabric: I thought I originally ordered nihon menpu gray and confirmed this via email with Roman. The shirt showed up in Candiani N-Gine, which despite my pics and the lawless IG pic is a medium/light blue denim. That said I have nothing like this in my closet and it still satisfies my desire for a shirt that can be worn with dark indigo denim. Not much weft show through, slubbiness or texture, but more of a nice refined look. Details: The snaps feel like quality items, better than some expensive western shirts I have. The stitching is perfect everywhere and the selvedge placket detail is nice. I'm also digging the leather patch in the shirt, very nice. No chain stitch runoff, but my wife and mother made fun of that on my Gustin work shirt. Fit: Not sure if this came in slim as confirmed via email. Sal, would it say on the tag? If not, the regular L size is a better fit than Gustin's L Slim. It could be slightly trimmer and still fit, but looks damn good as is. Value: A solid buy at the current $89, a steal at the $69 I paid and highway robbery at $45 on sale. Nobody is making higher quality items right now with better fabrics for prices even approaching Lawless. The old site and change process was confusing as hell so I'm not holding that against them.

It looks great, and I don't see how you could/would want it any slimmer - fit is spot on from the pic. Thanks for the review. I'm dying to get mine!
