jbreitenbucher - IMO, they need more pics of the denim swatches and some completed pics. What I think would be really cool is that when you build a pair of jeans that you can see the options you choose on the denim as you choose them - thread color, etc. Once you've completed customizing your pair, it would be nice to see what the finished pair would look like. I know this is a lot of work, but just saying what I think would be cool. I think that would be a lot. They can simply show the finished product & that will give you an idea of what it will look like. The fabric up there today can be down tomorrow so it just isnt feasible to do that every time they get something in. The new site does address more product pics and is def easier to figure out. There are less options to choose from including getting rid of some of the actual thread colors (4 are gone) to avoid someone making something that doesnt look good or that they cant imagine as a finished product. This is smart because all we need is a few to choose from & to have colors that are a bit much are the exact reasons you want to see them as a finished product. (Dont worry all the good stuff is there including more button options)

Perhaps a step closer to this (and one that doesn't require a significant build) is for Roman and team to take pics of the various orders that are being built currently. We're all using a lot of various threading options, button options, etc., and shots of each of these (or various shots of each of these) could benefit the website build. I think seeing a few threads sewn up on a piece of denim is good, but perhaps Lawless has a place where pics of denim being built is housed, samples of the craft - the custom options for people to see samples and get ideas. A "look book" to enable someone to say "I want that look" and know how to duplicate it.

I will say the Lawless website isn't the best. Hope they get an upgrade soon. Will look much better So what is not good about the current site? Knowing that would help in making improvements. I'm going from lurker to registering an account just because you asked, and I'm looking forward to the new website to place an order. 1) As a noob to the high-end denim world I'm looking at the small samples and wondering what makes one denim different than the other. I've lurked for two months on various forums so I have a basic idea. Gustin does a great job of selling me on the different fabrics, and even Brave Star has a single line describing the denim. For example, if I'm leaning toward a standard Lawless order, what makes the 14oz and 15.2oz Cone different other than the obvious of weight? 2) There is no description on a return policy (if any). When will my card be charged? When can I expect to receive my order? 3) The term "relaxed straight" is confusing, even if that appears to be the close approximation of a straight fit. 4) Would be nice to have the standard Lawless patch an option for the custom orders. None of the other patch options as of now interest me.

Great points gentlemen. I made suggestions in order to build the high-end custom site but agree this would be a major build and to DD's point, with fabrics changing often, it wouldn't be a realistic solution. I think as long as people can see more of the fabric, maybe build one sample of a finished product or as much as possible for the buyer to envision the finished product would be helpful. Also better descriptions would help like G does.

I'll spare you the details. the bottom line if your not happy send it back for a full refund or credit. It's that simple. 2. The relax straights a classic fit straight leg. 3. There is a standard patch available on the new site. I Hope this helps.

Yes Gustin explains their denim but its more of a rah rah type thing where they say this is softer than this or heavier than that but you have to know the comparison denim as well . Explaining denim differences is really up to the person explaining it. Cone is not a company that does much with their denim. I mean u can say something is more rigid or soft. I do agree there should be something said even if it is a personal thought on it but like I said you will think something totally differnt when u get them. Ther return policy is posted on new site (STRAIGHT FROM THE NEW SITE) What is your return policy? Merchandise may be returned for a store credit, exchange, or refund within one (1) month of receipt of your merchandise (excluding customized items) with the original sales receipt. All merchandise returned for exchange, store credit, or refund must be in perfect sell condition. For more information, please visit our delivery & returns section. The fits Lawless has is their own interpretations on what they think will be good fits. This is really only a basis for the jean, you will adjust the measurements to whatever u want them to be for ur own perfect fitting jeans. Even if they had clown pants as a fit u can change them to the HOTCHILE fit. Standard Lawless patch available as well

It is not a mobile friendly site at all as far as selecting images.
I couldn't access my cart on the main website
More fabric images and descriptions.
Sizing to me is a bit wonky as far as names go. The "relaxed straight" fits more like Gustins slim.

What can we expect for delivery? 6-8 weeks as some have stated? Or does it depend on the order?

It would be great to see one additional photo per fabric of that fabric against a standard 'baseline' fabric (cone indigo or something very standard). Similar with thread, a single photo of each available thread color sewn up on the baseline denim (just a stitch around the swatch).
Looking forward to the site refresh!

jray matt Dirty_Denim I think something that might be possible is a gallery page that would show some finished orders. It isn't quite seeing things as you pick options but it would help a lot of potential buyers. brentkuz I think the new site is mobile friendly. Roman and his team are putting a lot of effort into the new site and I think you'll like it.

I noticed that when you go to shop/mens shirts....there are 3 pics of Roman wearing the different styles, The wording under what I would call the denim western shirt, it says Mens western shirt. Under the pic i would say is the mens western shirt, it says mens work shirt. and under the pic that I would call the mens work shirt, it says mens denim western shirt. Although, when you click on the pic, it does take you to the correct product, it may confuse some folks. Just a small detail. It doesn't bother me at all, just thought I'd point it out

I am infinitely more excited about Lawless' new site versus Gustin's new drops.. I hope Lawless finds a way to continuously "keep it fresh" with new denims, styles, products, etc!

I thought i should tell you guys some cool news. I will be heading to the Shop/factory Monday Nov 17th thru Friday Nov 21st to begin my families next chapter . Over the last few weeks Roman & I have been doing quite a bit of talking that has lead to discussions of me taking a position with the brand. I was naturally very interested especially hearing what Roman has planned for the future. Roman set me up for the week so that we can both begin diving into everything we all would want out of Lawless. The plan is for me to meet the team & begin settling into my roll in the men's Marketing & Sales Dept. What's great about the way Roman has things set up, is that everyone will take part in the designing of each piece which will make for some solid designs. So far we have come up with a few pieces to get things rolling but I believe it will get even better as time goes. It looks like June will be when I move my family there as long as everything goes smoothly with the logistics of it all.
I will also be helping out on here as best as I can without being there so feel free to use my presence here for any questions
