20 pairs worldwide is cool. Price and battle stripes are not.

kinda like this indigo crossgrain work shirt from Momotaro. Saw it up on OD and Denimio a week or so ago but wasn't sure on sizing and whether or not this is once washed.

(Now they just need to make some denim for those who are not going into battle, i.e. sans stripes)

jasutinsanDid you but it then? I tried emailing OD about sizing on this crossgrain shirt but they didn't respond. Their fit chart indicates that a size 44 has a 44" chest, but BOW has a size 42 listed as having a 44" chest. I'm inclined to believe BOW's fit chart over OD's fit chart.

I did. I got a 46, but like I said there is still at least one more available. I got the measurements checked and it’s a touch bigger in the chest ( 47 instead of 46.5 ) but it’s cotton so i can get it to shrink a bit regardless if need be, I reckon.

I received the momo grosgrain shirt today. Chest measurement of the 46 is indeed 47. The fabric is a very nice medium weight. Let me know if you have any specific measurement questions gaseousclay it feels raw/unwashed btw, but I’m planning on wearing it a few times before I wash it, but I can’t imagine it would shrink more than an inch. So probably a very true to size shirt, which I think is pretty typical of momo.

@untucked , I figured it appropriate to bring this to the brand thread. Recently, I picked up the Moleskin Work Shirt, from OD. Though, I have a couple of small issues with it, the pros greatly outweigh the cons..... This thing is certainly beefy. Safe to say, it is more than a 10oz fabric. The weight is comparable to one of my UHF. After a quick wash, it is still quite stiff, and the drape shows it. Some wear should help with that. The collar, yoke, button placket, and cuffs are reinforced with the same contrasting fabric used for the gussets. Triple needle stitching is used for all yoke, shoulder, sleeve, side, and buttonhole placket seams. Combined with a tightly woven moleskin fabric, it should outlive me. I gave the cigarette pocket a go. Although, the only pack available to me was my brother's 100s. It held in place, but the extra length left the bottom of the pack peeking out. I'm fairly certain, kings will be completely covered. From a historical perspective, 100s were introduced in the 1960s, and I assume Momo was going for a predated design. The color seems to appear more brownish in pics, but it is definitely a deep, rich olive, IRL. I snapped a pic of it next to my IHSH-154(same fabric as the 134), for reference. My only gripes.... 1. As I mentioned previously, the body length is a bit longer than I prefer. But, it's certainly not exclusive to this shirt, for me. Still, I think it could've been made an inch shorter, without ill effect to anyone. 2. Button placement is a bit odd. I think the spread is a tad too wide. Because of it, the 7th button down sits a little low(below the belt line). I don't generally use that button, anyway. But, where it sits, I can't see anyone else using it, either. They may as well left it off. Had the shirt been designed with 1" less body length, and the buttons been placed 1/4" closer together, I'd have no gripes. Pics... Edit: Forgotten comparison pic...

Need your opinion, fellas. What's your honest opinion of these tiger camo shorts from Momotaro? I kinda like 'em but don't wanna come off looking like some wannabe survivalist. I know some of you can't or won't wear shorts in the summer but for me it's a must.

Not sure what they'd pair well with except a black t shirt--cant really see it with a button up of any kind.
Kinda think a beat up/faded pair would look better, but idk?

During the summer i'm typically wearing shorts with a plain tee, usually black, grey and maybe navy. A button up would definitely look out of place with camo. I simply can't do jeans when it's in the 80s/90s plus humidity. I think i'm just trying to justify purchasing something from Momotaro even though I hate their battle stripe stuff.

I have a pair of camo cargo shorts lying around, somewhere. I've had them for 25 years or so. I only pull them out if I'm planning a summer trip to my family's place in central Wisconsin. They're great for fishing, and just wandering about the lake, in the heat.
I wouldn't splurge on a pair from Momo, or similar brand, though. I'd head to a military surplus store and grab a pair of summer bdu pants, and have the legs chopped and hemmed. The military summer weight ripstop fabric is very comfortable, and highly durable. Save the dough for more fashionable purchases.

I'm a camo-lover as well. I think they are a fun pattern that when rocked with denim and leather the right way... is a very modern look.
However, I look for camo items on sale as most people don't go for it. Personally, the camo pattern shown is like a florida swamp camo... my preference is woodland camo.
Did you go for them after all?
