mine hit the post office near me this morning. guess it'll be out for delivery tomorrow. I checked again, after reading this. It has already been sorted through my local PO, and is out for delivery. It should be in hand by 3pm central this afternoon. jerk!  |

mine ended up arriving yesterday too. just grabbed it and need to get cleaned up after a workout before trying it on but the quality is impressive for the price. |

mine ended up arriving yesterday too. just grabbed it and need to get cleaned up after a workout before trying it on but the quality is impressive for the price. The quality of the fabric is great. It definitely has a more substantial feel than I thought it would. Construction is solid. There are a couple sewing issues, though. The placket is straight from the bottom up to the second button from the neck, but strays a little to my left from there on up. It also looks as though the placket was being stretched as it was sewed. The sashiko lines go in and out of alignment all the way up.  The pocket was sewn a bit askew, as well. It strays from my right to left, bottom to top.  I can see how this would be a tough pattern to get perfect, and a little Wabi-sabi seems fitting for a traditional Japanese fabric. Last note: It is going to get a nice warm soak, and a hang dry. It definitely came in a little larger than the unwashed sizing, and is consistently large all around. A full size of shrink should be perfect. |

hmmmm...i have a somewhat similar placket but it's just slightly askew and won't be noticeable. my pocket turned out a bit better i'm sorry to say. bummer about it not being straight for you but i have a feeling when worn, it won't be an issue. it's a much slimmer shirt than i was expecting...let's just say i need a few more workouts to be comfortable in it.  |

I don't believe it will be an issue, either. The look of this fabric is way too "busy" to notice the misalignment, unless it's layed out and you're looking right at it. |

Yeah, they should REAALY do hidden indigo stripes in perhaps a slightly different indigo shade, or a stripes that wear in with age. Emblazoned on in white or black just looks 90s to me.
