Dude, you were totally right. Got these in the mail this morning and I already love them. The nep almost creates this antique look and the white weft show through is perfect. The pop of the colors is perfect- prominent enough for you to appreciate them, but discrete enough to be worn like a standard pair of indigos. are they more soft or crispier? Yes! Haha. The warp feels pretty crisp, and tricks me into believing they're actually heavier than 12.5oz. So they've got a decent crisp to them. However, the weft is super soft and almost feels like pajamas because of the nep in there.

Looks like they took the stock store down... in fairness, it isn't necessarily taken down, it just says that nothing is available.

Reading about sizing issues on stock store orders is making me uneasy. I ordered a 35 Slim Bright Weft thinking that the measurements would be right on target. With the QC issues everyone has been noting for a while, I assumed at least every pair in the stock store would be checked.
If these are off, it will probably be my last Gustin order.

My stock Bright Wefts were spot on - not sure if that helps ease your mind any until yours arrive.

Powder blues in 32 slim came yesterday. Waist is perfect at 32.5.

Received my Bright Wefts today and am happy to say they are within the 0.5" tolerance measurements, with the exception of the inseam, which was 1" too long.
They are universally 0.5" bigger than the fit guide. I was treating this as my recent weight loss trial pair. These were a 35 Slim and now I am wondering if I should be going 34 Slim. Still lots of room in the waist, though they are comfortable and not too baggy.
I have a pair of Zimbs on order and am still able to change the size...

I'd like to see Gustin offer the waxed trucker jackets as a regular stock item because it's a proven seller. the brown trucker must've been backed at least 3-4 times in the last month alone.

I broke mine out a few days back. Not wearing it yet, but getting it ready. Great jacket for the price. Very well done.

First stock store purchase arrives tomorrow, I'm excited because it's the Black x Coal, and hoping I'm not the first to try to answer Fuzzy's question. I think I read about some people needing to return on the community thread at weargustin, don't remember if they ever came back and mentioned any trouble. I can't imagine it'd be an "all sales are final" without mention of it. Kind of funny, though, I ordered the black x coal apron as a sort of consolation prize for missing the jeans (don't know why that happened, iirc they were in the store forever), and I'll end up actually getting a pair of the jeans before the apron.

Here's my experience. I ordered Gustin size 38 Light Khaki's from the initial campaign, waited 2-3 months received a pair with w/a 37" waist and a screwed-up chambray lining (below). I returned them at my cost and asked for a store credit. I received a credit for the original cost of the item, minus the shipping. I guess its because I told them I didn't want another pair of khaki's, based on my experience with their initial quality (down $10). I just bought the grey/blacks off of the stock page, with an increased price ($5) + shipping ($5). (A total increase of $20 to recoup my store credit because of their initial quality "miss.") Now I realize that some of these choices were my own, but I believe that they need to consistently take responsibility for their mistakes and stop with the side deals. I think it's time they put their "big boy" jeans on. Maybe I just expect too much... Has anyone been given store credit enough to cover the initial cost of the item plus whatever it cost to ship to you? I just got store credit for returning the DTB's that were oversized in the waist and got my initial outlay, so I'm out the return shipping cost. I sent a eMail asking Gustin about this (especially since this item was out of spec), and am awaiting a response. Some may find this petty, and the amount paid for shipping is small (even smaller to Gustin, relatively speaking), but out of principle I can't just let this slide. If they ship out a defective product, they should take responsibility and ownership of the issue. To be fair, maybe they'll make it right, so I'll update you guys when Gustin responds..

It's not petty at all. In my experience, I've been reimbursed for initial shipping costs and return shipping. I had to ask for it however--I was only refunded the product price initially in circumstances where it was G's issue.

wisdom i'd expect the same if it was their mistake/issue. different if i simply didn't like the item or ordered the incorrect size. i'm pretty sure several have gotten full reimbursement and some extra store credit as well...not sure if it was offered or demanded. i've only had one such issue in which an item came damaged and they gave me the option of returning or getting it repaired locally for reimbursement. i did the latter so shipping wasn't in play

Is it logical for Gustin to be offering up chinos in the stock store given that they are from a prior run before they "fixed" (by fixed I mean the changes they implemented between runs to fix the issues that they've acknowledged loosely in the Gustin community)? I'm sure these were thoroughly vetted through their QC...

I'm sure these were thoroughly vetted through their QC... wondered the same, but would probably take the risk on the duck browns if they had them in my size. seems the chino issues were hit or miss...some having issues and others not. guess that's been the case with several products of late.

kinda shitty they don't keep a list of the affected 1% and give you first dibs before stock.

Yeah I had a long conversation with Cody about the whole thing after the 1%-mail and he was gonna look for some for me. He was extremely helpful and generous so I think either he has been busy and missed it, or there is other persons handling the restock. But yes first dibs to stock would be a good thing, amonst others, like flagging a person who got the 1% mail to be immune to it 2 times in a row in some way.
I also just realized that it must be very rare for this to happen so I kinda agree but also understand.

They require some sort of transaction record (receipt or something - I used a credit card line item since I threw out the receipt and it was accepted). Professional and fair. Now I've got credit enough for some of the loomstates that look like they're dropping tomorrow
