black x coal from the stock store came in today, 33 slim and fitting really well. My heaviest prior to these was the 13.25 Heavy, so 16 is a bit of a learning experience, can't imagine the 23s.

I was checking those out. Need a saturated black pair. They do say heavily starched. Sounds like that was valid. I think that is what you are feeling. Did you do a soak?

Haven't gotten into the soaking thing, but I'm thinking I need to start with these. The fabric seems to get pretty unforgiving over 13oz.
They are very saturated, expectedly not hitting the blacker than black black-x-blackiness. Combining the charcoal weft and the look/feel of the fabric, I think these are going to age really nicely.

Anyone have the Powder Blue Gustins? Thoughts? I've got them ScottBot and I really dig them. They are tonal stitching, soft, and a lighter weight though so they aren't really up your alley but if you do go for it I would maybe try a slim fit ScottBot. That's my only regret on those, I wish I would have gotten a slim fit because they sewed up large. I'm gonna give em a good hot soak though and I should be good.

Thanks Icksey. There's a pair in the Stock section. Thought maybe I'd give them a run since they're a lighter color. Lighter weight too, but I guess that's OK...

cool! yeah they are a cool alternative to Indigo but yet they are still blue. Another cool touch is that they come with the thick natural veg tan patch.

Anyone have the Powder Blue Gustins? Thoughts? I think they showed up in the products forum and people were very happy with them. I don't have a pair, though.

Anyone have the Powder Blue Gustins? Thoughts? I've got them and I like them a lot. I don't wear them so much but that's because I'm always trying to break some indigo jeans. They are my favorites along with the grey silks as far as non indigo denim though. +1 on what Ickes said about slim, these are lightweight pants. Give 'em a shot Scott, they're pretty cool.

I'm going to keep my Stock Store comments here, as it is the proper thread, if mods want to move the earlier comments here.
Can someone sell me on the Selvedge Oxfords? They have both the Pink and Blue, and I'm interested in both.

The stock store is bananas today. Just grabbed the brown duck chinos in 34 slim to see if that's a better fit than the 33s. I like the fit. The 33s, by there's no stretch in 3x1 twill and I think they're going to fall apart on me.
I'm also tempted by the various blue chambrays, but sadly no L slims or M talls so I should probably pass.

I was mulling over it yesterday, but after reading reviews, and the fact that it's a stock store pair, didn't want to risk it. I also have too many Indigos, including a pair of momma Zimbs I haven't broken in yet.

Pulled the trigger on a shirt grab bag for a classic large to see how it fits. Seems like a cheap quick way to figure sizing.

Love all the shirting options. Really can't wait to pull the trigger on a flannel that I can wear for 2 weeks in Arizona... In all seriousness, I'm having a hard time not dropping $300+ today.

Why do they call it a sale. The prices are the same.

Why do they call it a sale. The prices are the same. Actually higher to factor in "overhead expenses".
