I'm not seeing anything brown at Naked and Famous Those don't appear to be on the Naked and Famous site nor Tate and Yoko, which is why I wasn't able to find them, I guess.

Brand/weights aside, I'm looking to diversify my closet and denim collection - I've got classic darker denims of all shades, plus indigo, black, white, and grey - what is a color I need to add or need more of? What's a "must have" from the collectors in this group? - More texture (I don't have anything "neppy"...been holding out for another run of Jutes) - Olive/army green - Brown/tan/khaki - More grey (I've got Grey silks) Ideally, I'd love to grab a midweight pair in any of the above (14oz+) but that doesn't necessarily limit what I'm thinking. Appreciate the peer pressure. If you find a 14+ oz grey let me know, I don't think I've ever seen it -- though washing the hell out of a fade-to-grey black would probably do the trick. selvedgestyle.com/thread/1499/634s-21oz-grey-black-denim

That's a fade-to-grey almost-black. It'll take a while for these to approach true grey. Sweet jeans, though.

I need to buy a pair of Oni Olive Secrets, I just haven't yet. Probably the only pair of non indigo or non black denim I really want. The fit chart (per Denimio) is right where I'd like it to be on these. Hmmm...definitely on the short list. Thanks for sharing. I've got to second bentin . If you want olive, and nep, this stuff will give you all you can handle. It's crazy good.....

You need Japanese denim. Its for me much about the color. You will never have a Cone fade with that spectrum that a japaneese denim does, not that i have ever seen anyways. Wear them for as long as you can preferably eveyday from you Come home. This will if done right make you want more.
So i would recommend a solid well made pair of dark blue japaneese denim. I say Iron heart or the flat head, you need one of those in your life. Put your money here. Just get them. Now.
Then look at the sales section here (what size is your current pants measured across?) and go wild with browns, greys, thin and thick for a fraction of the cost. I would not recommend the Okayama standards. They are great but they fade slow and you will not understand the "selvadge thing" with just these, they are a compliment to an already good rotation imho.
This is the truth!
