I'll cold soak this morning. I'm concerned a hot soak might be too much. I haven't exercised in ages and enjoy our San Diego ales.
I don't think I'll need baking sheets though. They came in with about 1" room.
I agree with the comment these feel very light. Definitely not "winter" denim. Remember stf changes weight slightly as the fabric is "allegedly" ounces per yard.
Still. For comparison Levi's 501 stf feel more substantial.

Nice jeans and a fair value. Not fall/winter wearing jeans but will make for a nice spring/summer pair. It'll be interesting how these fade, if any white pops through.

That one could be a little off. I forgot to take that measurement so I took it in the Tub when soaking. It's at least 12 but could be +.5 And remember 2"down.

I also got 38 slims (usually wear 36 for a close fit or 37 for a slightly more relaxed fit in G), and these feel smaller than they should (particularly the rise), but I'll post my measurements tonight. The waist was ~18.75, though, if I'm being generous and stretching them, I can get them to aaaaaalmost 19".

...and this is why i still don't have a pair of their loomstates. and why I won't bother with Gloomies. Gonna go with a more reputable brand if I ever go the unsanforized route.

Yeah, I know, just want to know if I need to retrain as a soprano after the Soakening. well, now the update (apparently from the 12th) is that they're shipping over the next ten days. At least I'm not the only one who hasn't received them, otherwise I'd be worried. I'm forgetting the "order it and forget it til the shipping notice" strategy I usually take with Gustin which results in a much less anxious waiting period.

Only reason I'm sorta excited is that they're a 40. I don't need a 40 in the warmer months so much, but in winter, I like to tuck sometimes. Unless I lose that 15+, I can't

I think I'm going to bite the bullet and just sit in a hot bath with these for 20-30 min and wear them until dry. Maybe while wearing a cup?

This thread is quickly becoming a Wils/MiddleAge workshirt. Each time I click I expect bad, but somehow, each time, it's somehow gone even worse than expectations. Now, best case, it's become a sausage fade-off.

they knew there would be lots of pics here of you strapping fellas in your jeans, so they sewed 'em up extra tight on purpose
