This is the Blue Rust Flannel I backed in september, received it in november. For some reason I haven't posted it yet, but here it is. Needless to say I got a refund. imgur.com/a/W80qBthat's laughably bad. i'm glad you sent it back. i don't why i still see so many people on ig and reddit raving about the construction quality of g shirts. i'm often tempted by the fabrics, but it seems almost certain that any non-workshirt will come in with some goofy alignment issue.

Browsing the G forum today, it's filled with unhappy customers. Some are finally seeing what many here did a long time ago. Such a shame, but the hubris that emanates from SF is beyond annoying. Let's post up some cool pics of another expensive bottle of booze - meanwhile people get crap, and their crap is late to boot. My money won't go back that route again. Same goes for any company that cares so little about it's customers.

Old 26 - I was on their earlier and noticed the same sentiment. It's too bad. i must be missing something because I really don't understand any businesses rationale for not fixing these things.

I can't speak to the construction quality of the shirts yet (not having received any), but the tactics used by G to isolate and obfuscate things are unbecoming of them. For example, restricting access to G forum and removing the order date and expected completion time from the orders page. These factors go in completely opposite direction of honesty and transparency.

I totally agree that a new round of G folks are seeing the picture, that brought the founders of this board over here. I don't look there much anymore, but Old piqued my interest, and I took a look. Talk about deja vu. I believe the only thing that will cause change there will be when people stop backing, and only then, will they address these ongoing issues. They are not looking to get better, only make more profit. At this point, there is no incentive to improve, but I have a feeling that there could be rough seas ahead for them.

That is one f*cked up shirt. Wow. I'm glad I have not gone into G shirt land. But hey, let's open another bottle of Whiskey and maybe build something new - hats?

Haha, that shirt is awesome. It also reminds me of how much I hate how high their collar button holes are punched.

As a side note, there seems to be a bit of a rebellion v2.0 happening on the G forum. Product delays . . . QC issues . . . lack of forum participation.

Same issues we brought up months ago and were called haters for. Oh well. I like the company, I like the customer service...Ren and cody have been helpful....but I wish I didn't have to contact them so often. In fact I almost never have had to contact CS for other companies about errors once and it was TS. That's it. Maybe they will fall apart and rebuild...rise like a phenix from the ashes. Late orders, incorrect orders, sizing issues, QC issues, and prices going up. Not a good equation. Seems like they want to be a budget version of EG.

Vincent - wow that shirt is horrible. Surely on par with a $175-$300 shirt. Maybe it's a new style?

Bringing up issues is not hating, but constantly bringing up issues followed by "I'm done with Gustin" every day or every few days for weeks on end by the same people is what was called hating. As ScottBott says, "Sometimes a customer deserves to be told to fugg off." People need to get over themselves and move on, or just stfu and stick with the company.

With more new members and guests coming to this forum, it is extremely important for members to continue remind/express/discuss both positive and negative current/past experiences about the vendors, so the new wave of users can benefit by using those feedback to make future purchase decisions. The new wave of users are not going to read every single old posts. Until vendor has shown some drastic differences of their customers experiences, the only way to keep the content current and up on the top for new users to read is for members to continue share their current/past experiences.

Not sure how I missed this before, but that pattern is off by what, 1.5" at the shoulder seam/yoke? I thought we were just talking about the placket before.

But you have no right to tell people what they should do or what they should not do. There are one or two members here that I disagree with and I totally don't read their posts on certain subjects. If the mod here has no problems with their posts, I don't have problems with them continue to participate.

Fellas - we've been here before - too many times. Post, read, ignore. But just fair warning that posts about not liking posts are going in the bin.

I just received a Gustin heavyweight natural belt that I backed in early November. It's my first natural belt and the leather does feel substantial and interesting. However, the size from buckle to center hole as described by their fit guide is off by over a half inch, combined with the thickness of the belt is enough to put me one hole looser to the last hole. I wear a 30 slim in Gustin denim and a size 32 belt shouldn't be on the last hole, should it? I can still wear it fine and it looks good, so it's not enough to make me want to send it back, I guess I'll just stay on the bike and not gain too much weight anytime soon.
I'll be getting a belt from stevekas pretty soon, I'll compare sizing to that before I make any final judgements

Your ongoing feud is getting kind of silly.
