I grabbed the short sleeve Jack in indigo star this week, a 38 popped up on the site randomly after being sold out for a week. So I snatched that up. I was going to back the Navy mini floral but the indigo star seemed like a better option. Awaiting tracking info...

Sell out way too fast, seems like they leave a lot of money on the table.

Given the delay of shipping something they have in stock, I'm just assuming they are taking a long sleeve of the same shirt and chopping off the sleeves for me. Problem solved.

Yeah, that makes sense. I've been waiting for the l/s version of that to go to clearance, looks like they got smart and decided to just start chopping existing stock for a lesser loss.

I've had trouble with Taylor Stitch sizing in the past, but I put in an order for the Cone ISC Utility Shirt last night after doing a good amount of research. I know some people have had issues with it fitting a bit big, but I think that will work to my advantage. I guess we'll see. Fingers crossed!

Got an email from Hayley Chill (yes, that's really her name, and yes, that's a perfect name for someone working at Taylor Stitch). Anyway, it looks like my order and score on a random instance of the Indigo Star short sleeve Jack was due to a system issue - "It looks like your order was placed on hold due to an inventory discrepancy. We will be restocking in four weeks and your order will be released. I'm so sorry I didn't reach out earlier. We recently moved to a third party shipping warehouse and are still getting used to the new protocol. As our company grows, we're working on closing the communication gap between us and our customers."
So yeah, I'll be playing the waiting game, but also seeing what this inconvenience means to them. Fingers crossed.

Fingers crossed. Yeah, they need to get that worked out. I placed an order that got lost a couple months ago. They are charging pretty decent prices for this stuff so CS should be paramount.

It's not that I wasn't going to do it, I just haven't worn it yet (85-90 here all week). Anyhow, the only thing I'll add is that it feels almost like a very refined canvas. Can't recommend enough. got mine today in white. Fits pretty well and really needs a rinse to settle the fabric out a bit. The triple nipple kinda disappears if you just undo the button and let the flap hang there. It really does not look all that bad . My nitpicks: bunch of the button holes have excess thread in them, I'll need to trim them the chainstitch runoff has to go if I turn one sleeve up one of the crosses on the inside has a loose thread. it feels a bit overly white at the moment but I think that will chill out after a rinse or a wash or two I'm really curious as to what this fabric will look like after it settles in. It is pleasantly soft and substantial but not suffocating feeling. That ISC cone fabric just made me uncomfortable and it seems like they dialed in/down the fit a little bit on this shirt compared to the oversize of the ISC run. Well, at least the ISC I had. I'm leaning towards keeping it and not picking more nits.

Took the plunge on the indigo cross jacquard and the tan project jacket as well. CS and fulfillment wasn't too bad. Email confirmation the same day and a shopping notice for the jacquard two days later. It just arrived in LA today, so I'll have it tomorrow. Looking forward to the fabric, as this is the first all over pattern (aside from the usual stripes, checks and plaids) that I've tried.

Red/Black Shadow Moto Utility shirt shipping confirmed. Hopefully it is here by the weekend... Yeah, supposed to get mine tomorrow. Mildly concerned that the delay was due to shipping from Portugal. Will be an instant return with an amusing nasty gram if so. Fingers crossed.

Not sure why they nixed the Proudly Made in California tab inside the collar. I suppose because Made with Prepubescent Shame in China would look weird on their other stuff.

I wonder if the Portuguese would have stuck the right pocket on a solid inch lower than the left? Dammit.

I wonder if the Portuguese would have stuck the right pocket on a solid inch lower than the left? Dammit. But on the bright side it appears aligned!

As Nate pointed out, it's aligned, they just cut the pockets from two different horizontal alignments. So they got one out of two things right, and pattern alignment is actually pretty good, much better than my older black one.
Fit is normal 42 for them. I'll be moving the left cuff button out half an inch to allow for my watch, but that's normal for TS and they leave enough material to make that possible. Pity I can't do that on my Glaciers.

See, that has no excuse since there's no horizontal aspect to the pattern.

See, that has no excuse since there's no horizontal aspect to the pattern. Just checked, my other 2 Moto shirts are done up the same way. Oddly intentional
