Just hurt my thumb getting into these bitches, but my mind is blown; very cool fabric and I dig the fit. I'm glad I read other people's stories of sore thumbs or I wouldn't have tried so hard, thinking I had just bought the wrong size I got these from rakuten and they are "one washed" so I won't expect any shrinkage and should see some loosening in the snug areas?

Anyone have the 666s that can chime in on if they're unsanforized? I've read on the IH forum where it doesn't seem an initial soak is done but if unsanforized I would want to correct? Also if anyone can compare these to G straights or RGT stantons? Thanks!

I believe, and I could be wrong, that the "s" in 666"s"-21 means sanforized. Some of their other jeans are XXXr or raw.

I will be getting in my first pair IH in the 666 cut tomorrow and I can let you know how they compare to my Stantons.

I actually found a pair of 25 oz 666 that should be here this week, these will be my first IH so I'm excited to get them, also good timing for 25oz here in CO.

Well yes as for the 18oz Indigo they are unsanforized so you will get about 1" shrinkage in the waist and 2" shrinkage in the length post soak. I see going for it right off the bat with your first pair of Iron Hearts and getting the 25oz...you're a brave man

Got them in today, size 31. Boy, the inseam on these is no joke. I've never been a cuffer but even with a 34+ inseam these require double rolling to keep them from dragging the floor.
My hip bones are red and chaffing, but that just means these bastards will fit awesome once stretched. I'll snap some pics once my wife isn't looking/judging my groaning with every movement

The waist has stretched a bit, just need the rest of the top block to follow suit. I might do a hot soak on the lower half and try to shrink up the calves a bit

I've found the 21oz to be super soft and comfy pretty much right out of the bag. I've heard the 25oz are brutal though.
I received my 19oz leftys today in the 666 cut. The fit is actually pretty damn good on these but I will get them hemmed. They are not a typical 666 cut though when compared to other fabrics in the same cut. The rise is lower and cuff is a bit smaller. Fabric is top notch as usual. The weft is very beige on this fabric, almost brown.

Just got my 666-xhs today and have a question regarding fit. These are comfortable in the waist right off, should these be tight to allow for stretch? Generally I love the fabric and way they fit now but worry about any stretching.
