Nice score scooter!! Thats a great looking fabric and I love the contrast stitching on those No doubt ! A while back, I was in the tonal I/I camp. But, that camping trip was merely a short vacation. That contrast pops nicely. It's a shame there aren't more options out there. Yeah Ive debated picking those up in the 634 cut but they just look too similar to my Indigo×Grey IH to really justify it. But very nice find and a great price and yeah the contrast pops, love it.

Can someone tell me if the 666-19L oz are unsanforized or sanforized. I know they're a left-hand twill.

Can someone tell me if the 666-19L oz are unsanforized or sanforized. I know they're a left-hand twill. They are unsanforized. But, it is a once washed denim. Giles has stated, the denim is very unpredictable. So, they wash it to compensate. Edit: It is an awesome denim. Tough as nails. A good amount of slub, a bit hairy, and a few neps. It feels more substantial than 19oz. One potential drawback.....they are prone to leg twist. The right leg of mine had a 60° forward outseam twist, right out of the box from Rodeo Bros.

19L leg twist..... Yep, I believe that's due to the left hand twill. My IH 20oz left hand twills have some serious leg twist too, doesn't bother me though

FWIW, my Flat Head 3009s have the same amount of leg twist. Doesn't bother me at all.
Ol' Steve McQueen in that famous photo of him has serious leg twist (probably Lees which are left hand twill), and hell the banner photo of this very site features some leg twist haha.

Personally, I love leg twist. Much lIke fades, it creates individuality. The only reason I stated it could be a potential drawback is some don't care for it. To each his own.

My oni's did the same thing - took me a while to get used to and I don't even notice it now.

Sorry, I'm new here. Whats the difference between the devils' cut and the slim cut? Is the devil's cut a bit slimmer in the leg opening?

Or are you trying to stay away from a small leg opening? I want a leg opening of about 15.5" for a 34.5 inch waist. I typically wear size 32 in levis for example And I'm thinking about getting these: global.rakuten.com/en/store/joenet/item/ironheart-9666z/ How can I assure they are not fake? Read more: selvedgestyle.com/thread/1223/ih-666s-21?page=2#ixzz3n3G3jAwrI'm in the same boat. I prefer a smaller hem. I just personally think it looks sharper and more modern and put together. Personal opinion, though, as some here prefer the opposite. There's the rub with Iron Heart. You're not going to get a leg opening like that on ANY of their jeans. The smallest I think is the IH-555 line: www.ironheart.co.uk/bottoms/ih-555-01.htmlAnd that is almost 16" for a hem at a 34" waist. I first got a pre-hemmed pair of Ih-634s from ebay. I bought the IH-666s. HATED the leg opening. At 36", the hem was 8.5. Sent them to Railcar and got the waist brought in to 35 (now a tiny bit big ugh), hemmed at 33", and tapered to a hem of 7.75" and now I love them. So I am with you on leg opening size. So that's an option for you if you want. It will still be cheaper than buying from IHUK if you can find a pair on Rakuten or from Rodeo Brothers. As far as your link, I've never heard of the Rakuten store "Joenet." And those jeans are black denim. Making sure you know that.

You guys may want to check out the 777's www.ironheart.co.uk/bottoms/ih-777s-21.htmlLast I read they didn't sew up the way they wanted in the first release and were planning on a smaller cuff on the next. But read up on what the IH Community was saying and Giles response.

Rakuten seems to be an extremely legit way to buy Japanese products.

Just pulled the trigger on a pair of these from Rodeo Bros. I've been outside often lately and it's getting way too cold in Colorado for me to not own something heavy like this. Fingers crossed that they show up before Thanksgiving!

Once you get yourself a pair of real heavy denim, and truly get them worn in, you won't want anything else for Fall/Winter.

Those are some crazy cuffs. Lord, I'd have gotten those puppies hemmed.
EDIT: Sweet fades, though.
