O... M... G... Edit: These are deusis 's from r/GYW. He sent them shell cordovan leather and had these made up. I'm going to contact Tannery Row, and ask if they have any NaturaL/Navy/Mahogany/Tan shell in stock to ship to Truman to make myself a pair of these. Wow they look good. I''m with D. Damn the torpedos. I had fixed in my mind that my Truman purchase would be a navy leather......... but I'm just not sure I'm ready to get into that $700+ territory......... |

drewcandraw Yeah I probably wore them 10 times, they got a little better. The stretching helped a ton, He did e-mail me back, I'd send them to him personally. The cobbler did a decent job but too much room for error

Sample sale is up and two smaller sizes 7.5 and anyone in a 8.5 (navy cavalier) and the rest are mostly 10-11.5

Well, there is a pair of acorn Trickers shell I could buy barely used for $375.............. ahhh yeah, too much cash for my tastes, though I do like them. Rather just wait for them to make the navy again in regular leather for little more than half that. |

I'm considering changing it to either regular or no captoe, 7 nickel eyelets, unstructured toe, and mini ripple sole, or just keep the original makeup and go with dainite/lactae sole. Or I may just cancel this order if I can get in on an MTO that I inquired about instead. |

Nearly a G for BLUE boots?
I can't see myself wearing blue boots enough to justify that price, no matter how nice they are--although the shell does look much better than the blue suede (GAK!).

Yup, difficult to justify for sure. But they're my grail boots. It was either these, or wait for Viberg to drop their shell boots for $1100+, only difference being the tannery. |

I couldn't resist these as my first Truman Boots. Had some trouble with the website when I ordered and got a call right away from CS rep. Worked everything out and for helping him identify some other issue with the new site he is expediting the order!!  |

What is that makeup?
I keep telling myself my first pair of Trumans will have Lactae soles. I'd like them to be made out of a low maintenance leather so I could travel with them and not worry about having to clean them.
My initial thought was roughout but I'm not sure.
I see he has updated his website and now lists < 1000 pairs annually as his production and has also upped prices a bit. Still a couple hundred cheaper than Viberg, MiUSA, and all stitchdown. Ahh yeah.
I'm feeling like Dev in that I have 2 new pairs of boots in the last month (well the one pair I ordered 8 months prior) and here I am still looking at more.
Totally want to add a Truman to the budding collection though.
