They also said they're going to experiment with shell cordovan! I might chill on my MTO to see how these turn out, and possibly wait for the shell cordovan offerings as well. |

There will be no waiting, for me. I've been waiting for just the right brown horsehide option, ever since I balked at the Thorogood Beloit HH I could've nabbed from Huckberry. These will be twice the price. But, from what I've seen from Truman, they'll be worth it. If Vince gets his hands on the #8 shell from Horween, I'm all in. All I'll need is a pair of black horsehide engineers, and I'll never have to buy another pair of boots. |

sent an email to Vince but I read he been super slammed, so I used the contact form on the website and got a response the following day about my order. My boots are closing in on 16 weeks which is way longer than most people so I wonder if it got lost in the shuffle.
Said I should be getting it by end of next week and hopefully can use them at work to put some miles in, just praying i don't drip acid onto it.

man after reading the reddits and looking at IG, so many people who ordered MTO after me and got there's within 2 months, kinda disappointed that mine is far behind.

Have you been wearing your boots more, what's your impression now? i've only been wearing them around 2x/week since it's finally getting warmer and i'm on my bike more. i'm still using the leather laces, but they'll get swapped out before the boots get a lot more use next fall. i really like them. they've already broken in quite well with only one spot on the left instep that still needs some stretching/softening as it will cause a bit of discomfort after 8 or so hours. the process has been a dream compared to the months it took to break in my red wings. this is my first dainite sole and from the early signs i'd say that it's going to wear pretty fast. overall i'm glad to have them as a compliment to the red wings. they're quite a bit sleeker, black, and the waxed flesh should offer a very interesting evolution. |

Truman is offering a new boot. Caffe Macchiato Calfskin. They are now offering the perforated captoe as an option. Looks pretty damn nice, but I'm still holding out for a possible Tan Horsehide or Shell Cordovan version. |

Well after sending another email and leaving a voicemail, I got an order complete for my boots all of a sudden with them creating a UPS shipping label.
I just checked on SF and guys who ordered a month or two after me still got boots ahead of me. I ordered something simple as well so not sure who dropped the ball but just disappointed a little.
I truly believe my order was lost and that they just pushed my boots into production over the last two weeks. I hope they didn't just pump it out to appease me for being over a month late on there tat.

Ordered in Late December and hot damn why not email customers that or post it up somewhere. I would have just changed to oiled shoulder or get java waxed instead. Oh well at least there coming for both of us

Marc did you see the dublin pictures on reddit. Did notice from reading various people's posts that turnaround has been all over the places, some people got it within 8 weeks some people are like me around 17-18 weeks. Hope it comes with the tote bag still as I already have so many shoes boxes in all my closets and I find I use tote bags more for when I travel.
