Do these boots have any arch support like you find in the Whites and the Wescos?

i don't have white's or wescos to compare, but i'm guessing from what i've read about white's that the truman's do not have quite as much arch support. they're not without support, but likely not to the same level as your comparison brands.
i've worn mine 4 days since owning them (no 2 days in a row), and think they'll break in nicely and be quite comfortable. compared to my RW IRs they should be a breeze to break in. i thought i'd end up with a hotspot on the outside of my left pinky toe, but that hasn't been the case. my only trouble spot at the moment is the bridge/instep area...near where the tongue attaches. this area causes some pressure when i walk, especially on the left foot. it's not debilitating and i expect it to go away entirely as the footbed settles and the leather softens up with wear.
the only mildly annoying thing for me thus far is that the leather laces pop out of the speed hooks throughout the day as the boot flexes. i can probably eliminate that by varying how tightly i'm lacing and/or the lacing pattern...but i haven't bothered with it yet.

THanks for the report. I'd like mine with all eyelets anyways so that would eliminate that issue.

9.5D brethren, if you are in the market for Natural CXL boots, you HAVE TO jump on these Truman boots. Just HAVE TO. Make him an offer for $400 and they're most likely yours.

First the Vibergx3Sixteen boot, and now the Visvism boot. Truman is nailing the MTO game, and I'm really interested in trying something with them. I'm thinking a color I don't have, either Color #8 or Navy/Green/Olive. Just shot Truman an email.

I've been in contact with a Mr. Gunner at Truman Boots, and he provided me with these samples for a makeup. I'm kinda considering doing either the Navy Cavalier or the Green Janus roughout, but I wish the Green Janus was a darker green. The Scratch Off fabric, which is a burgundy color, looks pretty awesome as well. Decisions, decisions. Quoted $400 + the cost of leather.

I'm not sure how that scratch/scuff stuff works but I'm gonna say I'd probably pass on that without more information or wear photos.
I'm anti suede and have a pair of waxed flesh boots coming soo.......... Navy Cavalier for me.
Plus there is that guy on SF that has a pair in blue that look awesome, I think those are NC right?
As to black suede, I'd just go black roughout.

it took a bit of convincing myself and a few great photos of well worn black waxed flesh to convince me i'd like it...but i'm really happy that's the direction i chose. (could help that i also have a pair of olive cxl shoes on the way from baker's/nick's)
i had sent vince a follow up email about my boots, letting him know how they fit and that i've been a bit frustrated with the laces popping out of the speedhooks. he responded really quickly saying that they recently switched to these smaller hooks and while he hasn't experienced that issue, he can imagine it happening. he offered to switch them out to eyelets if i wanted. not sure what i want to do yet...for the time being i'm just skipping the top hook and wrapping the laces around the ankle...but i was happy that he offered a solution.

Does the black waxed flesh wear to brown pretty easily? I like that my black Horween Wolverines wear to brown easily, just makes for a nice, warm worn in look. I did brown waxed flesh on my VP briefcase, really liking it so far, probably need boots and a belt now.

Bastage. That is my current next favorite color for a pair of Nicks. They told me that they usually have that color in stock. I'm anti speed hook, eyelets all the way. /just do it.

I like speed hooks but it doesn't sway me one way or another. I feel that leather laces are too damn stretchy to stay in speed hooks, though.

IT's a good fun safe word. So yes, you will be fine. ANd good luck with 16 weeks. I'm 2 weeks away from 7 months on my Nicks Brown Waxed Flesh. If they dont hit that mark (4th due date given) I'm gonna pitch a bitch and ask for some credit.

If you want input, you'll ask, but what's important is that you like them. We're just dudes out on the Internet.

northcoast ouch...that's a long wait. Hope they hit this date for you. exophobe you should know by now I'm not all that swayed by others' opinion (and likely hold my own too strongly at times)
