Per overdrawn inquiring in another thread, yes there is a way to bring an official complaint against Lawless & Roman. Their corporate page: ecorp.azcc.gov/Details/Corp?corpId=L18508901The consumer complaint form with the Arizona Attorney General's Office: www.azag.gov/complaints/consumerI'm an attorney in Florida, and our process is similar. It begins an inquiry into the company. If there are enough complaints, Florida's Department of Business and Profession Regulation, at least, begins to take it very seriously. I figure if enough people fill out this form, Arizona will also. This is short of bringing your own lawsuit, which, even in small claims court, is far more expensive then the jeans. So at that point it gets to a "principal of the thing"...thing.

Thanks for the info whiskeyriver. At this point for me I would think it would have to be considered theft as I have paid for a product in August of 2014 that I still have not recieved in June of 2015. At first my inquiries were responded to and I was fed the same line of bull shit every time. Now my last three have been ignored.

Man, I feel fortunate that my orders placed with LD were early on, and actually received them. I know Ickes did the same, but is still being jercked around. I'm so glad I trusted my gut, and didn't order anything else, as I had a vision as to where this train wreck was headed. It seems to me that Roman had such a fantastic opportunity in the beginning, to really make something of a new American brand, but squandered it away.

ickes - did you email Roman directly. I found when I got him involved, things happened and that's how I got all of the stuff I ordered.

I tried to contact roman directly by messaging him on the forum here but I do not have his direct email address so that is the only way I tried to contact him directly.

Just a heads up. I recieved 2 refunds but they did not included the shipping charges that I was billed for (about $30). So check what you get for any refunds.

None of their phone numbers are working and they are now not answering their chats. I don't know what kind of person would choose to work for this company.

Yeah...and it's no surprise that I have not received a reply yet from Roman.

As long as you have some websites, create new websites, change your mail addies and the like, you will allways have new and fresh groups of potential buyers that want to give it a try.
In the denim scene they (LD) have been able to ride the float of others, of successfull companies that offer handmade, USA-made, denim.
This story will go on and on as long as noone stops or shots them business down.
.... it is far beyond entertainment with some "sit-back-enjoy-your-popcorn-feeling"

I think LD is operating on some type of lottery or prize system in their CS department. They probably sit back and only answer every 100th call and that's the lucky winner for the day, like a radio station giving away concert tickets. benjaminpersitz must have been the lucky 100th caller that day and won the prize of actually speaking to someone and getting some customer service.

Seriously. The local Arizona number I've found have been disconnected, and the 1-866 number goes directly to a voicemail box that's always "full."

Yeah. I've tried that one multiple times. Straight to voicemail with a full mailbox. I was able to leave a message once, and nobody has returned my call.

It does appear that they are back to removing/silencing the masses who post on social media (Facebook/IG). Maybe we need to honestly start quoting Roman directly as part of our efforts to communicate with him.
X date: Roman stated on the Selvedgestyle.com forum "We will have all custom orders filled in 30-45 days" X date: Roman again stated on the Selvedgestyle.com forum "We will have all custom orders filled in 30-45 days" X date: Lawless changes URL again, consumers confused on how to confirm order fulfillment. X date: No phone responses on various lines, voice mailbox full. X date: Day 30 of first 30 day promise passes. X date: Day 45 of first 45 day promise passes. X date: Day 30 of second 30 day promise passes. X date: Day 45 of second 45 day promise passes.
Sadly, this would only get us blocked on social media...unless we start posting our own pics and tagging LD in them...
Just an idea to help expedite change. Maybe the best solution is to see if they keep their word.
