As much as I would love to Lampoon LD/Roman, the fact is we need them to succeed. It'll be the only way many of us will get out orders. Or start the long process of getting a refund (but beware it'll most likely not include the shipping charge).

Just curious. What is the point of these crusades? I prefer the don't support them with my money route, and make them the butt of my jokes route.

As I've said, I'm giving him the 30-45 he quoted, however naive that might be, and will take it back up then. This is day 23, since there was no indication of business days. If they meant business days with a five day work week, we're 16 days into 45 business days.

I did take my post down as it seemed like it was being a bit over the top (I posted a pic of their "F" rating on BBB).

What about the 16yo kid that is trying to get into raw denim and american made goods. He orders at lawless because no one is saying or doing anything about the bad business. Peoples experiences are very very important. Having a shop like lawless with these major major flaws makes made in the USA goods bad. It gives a bad name to US based clothing/leather companies. A bad name to Arizona (buncha loonies in that state) bad name for kick start companies, denim shops etc. If we as a group don't say anything and more people are getting ripped off by LD then we are to blame. Because 'Mercia.

Hey Ickes,
Don't you live in the Phoenix area? I would find it irresistible to stop by and talk face to face. I don't mean that in a bad way, but I always get more done in person.

Maybe buy an old, red Cadillac and start driving by really slowly? Or park at a right angle to their offices?

Calls still going straight to voicemail. Still no movement on my "shipment." These people, including Roman, are either outright crooks/hacks, or simply lazy and morally bankrupt. Either way, pretty bad situation.
This seems like the kind of company where the owner employs a bunch of people he thinks are cool and/or young ladies that catch his eye without determining first whether they're actually gonna do a good job. Seen it so many times. Seen so many businesses fail because of that kind of atmosphere.
Lame, lame, lame.

I only look on this thread anymore because of the trainwreck intertainment value, but would not spend another thin dime with this company.

A big group thanks to this forum for leaving ample evidence to not fall for the RTW thing. I thought about it for a second, but the 4,287 negative experiences detailed in this section of the forum gently nudged me to continue to act like Lawless and their other iterations do not exist, a position I plan to keep.

Kurt I've been there numerous times (as many here know). It's helpful to talk to Roman, but it's more or less the same song and dance, but you'll get to see a lot of nice fabrics. I've offered a lot of free advice and it's gotten me about as much as talking to a roll of denim. For the record, I have received 4 denims (already sold 2) and 2 shirts (1 pending), so I'm supportive of the struggle everyone has been through - especially my peers and my family who I have promoted LD and who have bought and are WAITING.

Yeah quite literally LD has gotten me schtick as an American living overseas. Look, it's not like the Iraq war in 2002 (widespread Euro hostility etc), but let's just say in denim circles, from peeps who've ordered from LD, there's .... resentment. All the made in USA stuff they were slinging does NOT make us look good.
'When people say American manufacturing is dead we say...' uh, if it's like LD I hope it is.
Basically, and I don't want to blow it out of proportion (we're talking about jeans here), it DOES come across, to guys who've invested hundreds of bucks in the Nov sale, as more American hot air .... A lot of big promises, probably good intentions, but bad follow-through. Sort of like SOME of our foreign policy. Don't get it twisted -- the Coulier is a patriot. That's why clowns like LD bum him out (that and they've effectively robbed him).
But yeah, they plaster the flag all over ... imagine if it was a Japanese company and they kept throwing around the old rising sun and blasting 'This is what made in Japan selvedge is ALL ABOUT! YEAH! WE LOVE JAPAN!' And their website was a pic of the Japanese Roman wearing like a Karate Kid headband and riding a bike towing an immense Japanese flag and grinning at the camera and saying 'JAPAN IS THE BEST' surrounded by slender, LD wearing Japanese chicks he's buying drinks for with your American dough.
Uh... You'd sort of start liking the Japanese just a tiny bit less than you did before ... after like 9 months of lies.

jbcoulier - does this help with that image? It probably went up about the same time as your post, which I find sort of hilarious.

In fairness, that's a repost from a non-jaded customer.
Now, I am about to get in on the lambasting... I've sat back and let you dudes fight the fight long enough...
I just really decided to look at what he owes me, and I'm looking at roughly $600 worth of stuff from 4 orders between #1012-#1042. I don't know order dates because the old site is inaccessible to me, and the last batch of emails sent out in mass list the date of the email as the order date.... Diabolical genius?

If they can continue to bilk enough people out of money, they might be able to hit the mark, to qualify them for an episode of "American Greed".

I'm kinda surprised by this one. Untucked has been on of his favorite people on IG (since I follow you both, I recall the opportunity for global PR when he sent you your first pair way across the globe). I've never seen someone be so oblivious to the importance of word of mouth. One solution would be to take our order confirmation emails from the time of original order and post screen shots of them and tag LD in the pics, and maybe opt for every relative hash tag to get the point across... #buyerbeware #babiesarebornfaster etc...

I would love to post the ORIGINAL, but that was so freaking long ago, I can't even track them down..... I will be posting screenshots of the last batch of re-sends, tagging Lawless and using all relevant denim-feel hashtag to draw the maximum amount of attention possible.
Anyone have an order number around 1012-1042? I know it was roughly November, but I'd like to dial it in more closely than that

Well, keep it going here. Google lawless and we are around the third entry. Now that untucked is pissed we can move up!
My November order was ~1200.

I know it was roughly November, but I'd like to dial it in more closely than that I have order #1025 for $39.50, but I'm not 100% it's for the only item (12 oz olive drab shirt) I ordered. I believe the olive drab came through a little later in the month? I've searched my inbox for LD, Lawless, Roman and I'm finding all sorts of different emails each time. I at least have a purchase confirmation and that date tied together. Update: I can confirm that #1025 from Nov. 11 is the aforementioned shirt. Luckily, Roman sending the email out this month changing the date of sale, I mean, for the system update confirmed the order number, product and price. Fortunately, I also have the original point of sale email receipt with their transaction number.
