Why don't all of you request a refund?!? I got mine within a week when I decided I wouldn't see my orders (back in Feb). Did. Hasn't shown up yet. I think lots are in the same boat... Or in the boat where you didn't ask for a refund (but you would now) and then when you call to check up on your status (like an idiot) they tell you you've been refunded. But you haven't. I love this boat!

This bums me out. I'm waiting on a shirt. A shirt style that is no longer listed on their website I might add. So it appears I would never even have the option of getting it as a RTW. It will have to be a full custom and LD will probably never make it Same here I was specifically told that my style shirt in queue (Oregon) will be made. I told them at the time of my note "no rush because I can't exactly wear the shirt in triple digit heat in the desert right now" and "as long as I have it by the fall"...the response I received was "no problem, you will have your shirt will before the fall". Do they not realize that if they are fulfilling their denim backlog first and then shirts...that based on the 30-45 day window, I'm looking at 90 days out for a shirt and it's already September. Last I checked, that's fall.

Last I checked, that's fall. Same here, well, except for the telling them I don't need it part. That's why I put the question in their forum, since I've been told that it's being worked on, and that I'll have my order (shirt and chinos) in 30-45 days, and then they're saying on their forum and in their blog that they're focused on getting custom jeans out in the next 30-45 days and will start assessing other things once that's done. It's the weekend, so I haven't been expecting a response just yet, but I hope to see something on either my thread or my email in the next couple days.

The beauty of this is that we now have yet ANOTHER "deadline" committed to by LD. We had 60 days a couple days ago via FB, now 60 days from today on IG.
Here's what I don't understand - what does "not taking any new/additional orders for the next 60 days" have to do with back orders? Based on that logic (and their words above), they are implying no organization to their own production system. The backlog of customs should have no influence on future orders. I get that it does delay future orders and this clearly shows that they need to play catch up. But it can also be asked if they are not working on orders in a systematic manner (I know - jeans first).

hmmmmm....they are shutting down the website, not taking any more orders, and selling off fabric rolls. If I were a conspiracy theorist I'd be expecting to see a sale of sewing machines, workstations, threads and needles, etc. here shortly as well lol

Pardon my language but it MUST be said: HOW IN THE FCUK DO YOU HAVE A SURPLUS OR BACKSTOCK WHEN YOU ARE BEHIND ON PRODUCTION? ?

Taking $$ in regardless of intent or ability to provide the goods to the buyer has been their sole strategy thus far. Stopping sales of any kind is an abrupt about-face. Especially considering that per their site, they still had RTW jeans in-stock. Could it be possible they've been forced to stop selling?

Does make me a little bit more disappointed about their failure to deliver on the promise of a store credit, while I wouldn't give them any money it would be a novelty to receive something, anything, from Lawless/LDandCo at this point.

there are mostly rather small and some funny sizes, especially in the length (38 x 28, ...) on that clearance ... nevertheless, $25 MUST translate to them loosing money again (I've never worked in the apparel industry, but I just cannot imagine you can make a pair of trousers with decent fabrics in a 1st world country for $25, even in a high volume factory - let alone a micro business like LD ...)
(edited: erased some speculative thoughts)

variable: of course you're right basically - if the stock needs to be cleared ... If I was LD (or rather their consultant), I would have rather have proposed them the following: - check the sizes in the backlog and offer (via email) what you have "pre-made", i.e. if I ordered 36x36 something, then they could send me a mail with a swap-offer of 36x36 something else ... of course the customer is not going to be too impressed of receiving something completely different from what he/she ordered, but at a point of having waited for 8months on a pair of trousers, he/she will have written of his/her investment anyway and just be happy to receive anything, maybe even worth the money .... 90% of those customers will never order anything from LD again, but that number is unlikely to decrease with further wait even if someday the people receive what they actually ordered ... LD would by this mitigate their losses on the "custom" backlog ... now, I know it doesn't generate cash, however the cash generated with the something like 50 pairs of trousers @usd 25 is USD 1'250.- - if that sum is paramount for survival, I'd definitely be worried ...

Hey guys I have a great shirt from lawless I'm gonna sell. It's the mystery twill/chambray. Size large and it has canted pockets!
Slight flaws are a hallmark of lawless products.

Congrats and thanks to all who filed official complaints. I think the recent activity is a direct result of this. Way to go!

Do you think that contact with her opens up an easier possibility of getting a chargeback?

Do you think that contact with her opens up an easier possibility of getting a chargeback? Time will tell. Sounds like others have not heard from LD or lauraaa since a few days ago. hoping it wasn't another case of popping their heads up and disappearing again. Wouldn't hurt to try.

I want to know what is going on with the order update thread. Dozens of us tagged Laura with our order numbers. I didn't receive any response. Has anyone else? Mods aren't allowing any chatter in that thread.
