@david, will do. Keep in mind they are at maximum stretch right now. No idea what the means as far as measurements, I just know it takes them from "screw wearing these" tight to "OK, as long as I don't try to ride my motorcycle or step over a tall fence" tight. The thighs on 012s are the tightest with respect to all other measurements (waist etc) on any jean I have. If I could do it over, I'd get 33s thanks @stevekas the thighs are my primary concern, especially during the summer when i spend so much time on my bike. if your post-stretch thigh measurement is >11.75 it would push me over the edge if i could actually find a pair.

@david, I can relate. For years I sported the t Rex body of a cyclist, huge quads and lungs. Claw like arms and ribs showing all over the place. One year I burned out though and after 15 years of constant cycling, I just stopped.
Anyway, here are those measurements, took them last night, jeans flat. Multiplied reach result X2 so if you want the raw numbers, just do some division.
Waist 34.5 Thigh at crotch level 22" Knee 15" Cuff 14"
My advice if you are of the t Rex clan, size up one on the waist and wear a belt to contain stretch. 012s are very "Japanese" in their fit, the rise is low, the top block is somehow both roomy but a bit small in the ass, especially if you have cyclist glutes, they can ride low in the back. The thighs are tight which is the part that gets on my nerves and makes these go into storage in the summer yet doesn't bother me at all in the winter. The fabric is like nothing else though and they fade beautifully.
I'd get some for sure but do consider sizing up, I'd go 33 if I could do it again but I'm already too far down the rabbit hole with these and love the fades after 6 months or so of wear and a couple washes.

Damn..22" thighs, there's no way in hell I could squeeze in to those. That's a bummer for me cause PBJ has some gorgeous fabrics but their fits are so tiny in the thigh, what the hell PBJ?!

ickes, are they all that way? I thought they had straightish cuts the last time I looked? The only reason I picked up the 012s was a fade contest sponsored by Denimio and I had to pre order them in spring of 2014. The price was 100 dollars less than BiG and this was before I was really into Rakuten so it was a deal I couldn't pass up. I can tell you that next to the infamous Gustin Pima Fires, these have the softest denim I've ever felt. The Nep is insane as well. I don't know man, seems like they'd have somthing that would work for you? Sounds like you've already checked though.

I remember you posted a very comprehensive link to a PBJ site a while back that had every cut they have available and their respective fit guides. I combed over every fit guide and I think there might have been a couple fits that I would have only had to size up 1 or 2 waist sizes to get the thighs to fit. Maybe I should check that out again.

If you can fit the slim loomies 2 sizes bigger then normal, then these would fit one size up from normal size. Atleast for me the loomies are still tighter.

Finally soaked my 012s and let them dry. When I first tried them on the thighs were so tight I couldn't pull them all the way up. Was nervous I wasn't going to be able to wear them but kept trying to pull them up and finally got them where I wanted them. Going into day 2 now and the thighs have stretched back out and are very comfortable. I love the texture, literally can't stop touching them haha

I actually dont find mine that far off Gustin. Sure they are somewhat different but most normal people around probably wont notice. Mine are trimmer in the tighs, shorter in the back, bigger in the waist, bigger in the hems. If I was a wizard I would make them a little slimmer around the butt and lower legs but thats about it. All in all they are more comfortable but it will probably differ from body to body. I do believe my gustin slim loomies are my best fitting jeans I have ever had and they are slimmer all around, very much slimmer in the lower legs, and tighter in the butt wich is good since it prevents the sagging ass but they have also gotten enlarged sewing holes in that area so they might actually be too small (no its not me thats too big, I demand pie and beer!! )

First look..... PBJ AI-003 Measurements are all within .25" of BiG specs for the AI-013. If they soak to one - wash specs, all will be good in my world. Hopefully, I will get to soak them Sunday. I thought nothing would out - slub the Oni Kabuki. I was wrong. Edit: I forgot to mention, they flew right through customs, without a hitch. Denimio fudged the numbers. With free shipping, as well, they certainly will get my business again.

First look..... PBJ AI-003 That texture is truly magnificent, I think I read somewhere that it's because they blend extra long staple Zimbabwe cotton with super short staple slub-inducing Texas cotton. Nice jeans.

First look..... PBJ AI-003 That texture is truly magnificent, I think I read somewhere that it's because they blend extra long staple Zimbabwe cotton with super short staple slub-inducing Texas cotton. Nice jeans. No doubt, the texture is nothing short of incredible. I was able to soak them sooner than expected. I gave them an approximately 75°-80° bath, for about 75-80 minutes (notice the pattern here). They shrunk up perfectly. Any worries about the thigh were quickly put to rest. The soak brought out a bit of hairness, as well. Easily, my favorite pair of jawns. Although, the IH lefties are right there with them, albeit for different reasons (built like a suit of armor). The PBJ are very crisp, and rigid. Although, the fit is good, the drape looks a bit "frozen". I can't wait for them to soften, and lay more naturally. All in all, I couldn't be happier with my first venture into PBJ land. The best way, I can think of, to describe the texture..... Have you ever gone to a gas station and had a bumpy dog ?

love my xx-007s & best of all my ai-003 awai shoai I almost considered buying a second pair for years down the road so nice..
own the xx-015 also bought because I wanted something that was more comfortable of front rise to wear while @work.. well the back rise is extra long also which I absolutely hate but love all the slub of pbj so I wear them anyways..
I complained to pbj about how they shouldn't have made such a deep back rise on the xx-015 and didn't realize. I said make the 18oz in xx-013 fit be better seller.
guess they heard me out and others pbj told me there is soon production Of 18oz regular indigo xx-013 cut. if hasn't already started of possibly from me complaining to much about the xx-015 super droop ass fit I cannot stand.
so they might be out sometime in August later or September I'm guessing but wasn't told that..
