I had ordered the XXL indigoxwhite but had to return it, because it was too huge for me. I am 180 cm and a Gustin workshirt slim medium and Taylor Stitch size 40 fit me perfectly. I hope that helps.

Just received my first pair of xx-012s and they feel and look awesome. Can't wait to soak them and throw them on. Ordered the same size that I order in Gustin so hopefully it works out.

If you are wavering, I'd go PBJ. The fabric is just so much better in my opinion.

I saw this on IG..... Beautiful fabric! I'm in love with PBJ!
I'm going to contact them to see if the super heavy fabric will come back, and if not, I'm probably diving on the 18oz cigarette slims as my go to indigoXwhite jeans

Anyone else think that looks like the Cone Pima Fire? Or the new Japan indigo fire or whatever they're running now (which almost makes me wonder if that gustin fabric was a test run for this pbj fabric). The difference is that it's 17oz. I thought that the streakiness was a product of the different cotton used, but now I guess maybe it's a dying technique?

If I am not mistaken, this is the fabric used for the upcoming Awa Shoai release. They produce this denim once every 3 years. Hand dyed with natural indigo. Pre-orders for these are going on, at BiG for $685, and at denimio for $450. Somehow, I don't believe PBJ would let Gustin anywhere near this fabric.

Yeah, just for the record I wasn't insinuating in any way that Gustin may be using this same fabric. I was just saying that it looks similar to the Cone Pima Fire which is not the most appealing fabric IMO.

Finally going to get around to soaking them tonight. Will post pics tomorrow once they are dry. I managed to find them on Grailed. . I like the xks also but couldn't resist the $185 price tag of the PBS. I may pick up a pair of 100xks, needing a fresh pair of IndigoxWhite denim but not sure what to get haha

Thanks to a comment made by raw4lif3R , I discovered my grail was very obtainable, at a price far more justifiable than the BiG price of $685. If you like the PBJ 011, 012, or 013 cut, you may want to take a look at these. They only come around once every 3 years. Get 'em while they are in stock, and as cheap as you'll ever see them.

@stevekas are your 012's size 32? if so would you mind posting a thigh measurement whenever you get a chance? thanks!

@david, will do. Keep in mind they are at maximum stretch right now. No idea what the means as far as measurements, I just know it takes them from "screw wearing these" tight to "OK, as long as I don't try to ride my motorcycle or step over a tall fence" tight.
The thighs on 012s are the tightest with respect to all other measurements (waist etc) on any jean I have. If I could do it over, I'd get 33s

Yep, that's the one thing that's held me back from picking up a pair of PBJ's is the small thigh measurements.

I don't want this to be taken as bad, but that couldn't look any more identical to the Cone Pima Fire (I also really want to know what causes the streaky appearance, if anyone knows). Even the weft is nearly identical. That said, the weight at 18oz makes them a lot more interesting to me. If they're as soft as the CPF but also 18oz, I totally want a pair though. I'm glad you found them at a more agreeable price, though, and really hope you'll share some pictures when they come in.

Those slubby weft yarns like to pop through. They don't come through evenly, though. That's what gives them that streakiness. You had better believe, I will be sharing these.

Denimio sent me shipping info, already. They should be here early next week. Unfortunately, I think Uncle Sam is going to have his way with me, this time.

Denimio put $20 on the package I got so no uncle anything got to sniff mine. Now, that's what I like to hear. With all the competition denimio has on Rakuten, giving incentives to buy from them is smart business.

Cant say this always happens since i only bought from them once but yeah it definately made them alot bigger in my eyes and the first place to look for japaneese brands since they are also cheap.
BiG also did this btw altho you know their prices are steep it made me happy.
