Wore the naturals a couple days over the weekend, and they are evolving so quickly: I'd like to see a pic of these with a single cuff. Next year I think I'll pick up a pair (maybe I could back them 3 months earlier and still be true to my No Spend Year

I've got about 30 wears in the Gustin J21's and though they fit nicely and are Much easier to wear then the BEAST, they are still not an easy wear compared to my other jeans in the 14-16oz weight class Now I have a pair of the CF anniversary jeans (20oz) coming. Not expecting those to be an easy wear either. I may wash the Gustin regularly (weekly) and no washes for the CF. I'm just tired of Breaking in jeans. Maybe I should just wear my Ok's all the time.?

For those of you who wash regularly. Do you find that the Denim (in this case heavy 21oz) softens up the more you wash?

So far so good. I still haven't broken the habit of looking for stuff. I found a pair of cordovan shell blucher on eBay I would have bid on. And have been looking at the Rogue Territory ISC shirt. But the impulse buy is subsiding. Just stay away from IG. It is pure evil... Yes! I dumped IG awhile back. Doing just that helped with my time and pocket.

I believe the double loop is only for us big guys (36" and bigger) Are they doing double back loops on 36 now? I know 37 but never on any of my 36's. Sorry, miss spoke on that (been awhile since I wore my 36") I guess it's 37" and up.

I'd start small, like a single closet, bureau, chest. Completely empty and clean it. Then put back only what you have designed that space for. Limit what goes back in (like only hanging shirts, chino, trousers). You'll end up with a bunch of extra stuff from that one space. Go through it and get rid of anything you haven't worn/touched in a year. I find just donating it all is the easiest. I simply don't have time to sell stuff (though I have here). If you want to sell some nice stuff, start a pile someplace away from your living space (a plactic tote in the garage/basement/etc). You'll get back to it. For now it's about getting your space/life back. Once you've done that one space tackle another space/area. Concentrate on one area, one room. Once you have a room done, keep it that way. I go through my clothing every spring and fall, rearranging it for the coming season, again purging what you haven't worn in a year. (only takes an hour if that once it's organized). Whan I see and remove what I haven't worn in a year, I'm more careful on what I buy. I plan on donating a lot of clothing. I had already donated a ton of stuff over the last 2 yrs so i'm making a dent. I also feel that donating is much easier. I do have a pile of unworn denim I need to go through but may hold onto them because it's one of those articles of clothing I will eventually wear. Donating is the way I go. I think you should decide why you'd like to simplify. Is it that you want to recoup the money spent, just want to declutter, or want to clarify your space/life. For example you CD's, what would you take for them (what is the real $ value)? It may be worth more just to consign them and walk away.

only glanced and quickly dismissed the New Drops (being on only week 2 of my 1 year No Spend) but yes, those shirts look much better with no buttoned collars and it does seem to have much less dramatic Scoops.

Don draper popped into my head right away. Not something I would/could pull off but I've always thought mad men was in another league when it came to the casts' wardrobe. Good one. A little uptight for my liking

Or which characters wardrobe do you (or would you) like to be identified with?

Been watching Boardwalk Empire. Find myself pausing/rewinding some scenes just to look at the Outfits some of the characters wear. Especially the working guys.
What show do you consider to have the best wardrobe?

Man I hope Old26 is on a vacation or something I'm worried. Hes doing ok, just taking a break. It's good to get back to the real world and focus on what's important. But I do get a bit down when one of the OG's disappears. Old26 is an old salt and wouldn't drop us completely.

I went with the same size in both (XL Classic). I find the button down to be a bit more trim. If the WorkShirt isn't quite the right fit try soaking. I got some shrink (exspecially in length) on my denim shirt.

So how far out are we on orders? Who's been waiting the longest? Not trying to yank CF chain, just wondering.

Gustin was my first Henley, I'm more of a TShirt guy. To me the neck on the Gustin is a bit to wide but I'm not sure if that's how most henleys are. Huh. I'm really digging the henleys personally. Thanks anyhow. You should check out what Pistol Lake has to offer. I just recently got one of their henleys and it's pretty great fitting and comfortable. Do you find that they have a more scooped/wide neck compared to a regular TShirt?

I only have the one Gustin henley. IMO it seems like it would compare to a JCrew. Nothing about it makes it different other then the fit is good for me. Man. That's unfortunate to hear. Have you ever tried Pistol Lake henleys? How do they compare? Gustin was my first Henley, I'm more of a TShirt guy. To me the neck on the Gustin is a bit to wide but I'm not sure if that's how most henleys are.

Hey. Got a question here. Does anyone have any experience with the Gustin heavyweight Henleys? I see that Pistol Lake just came out with their heavyweight henleys and they are $75, which is ridiculous IMO of how much of a jump they are in comparison to their regular henleys. How does Gustin's henleys compared to others in the price range or above? Like Wings + Horns, Reigning Champ (I got a navy one coming in thermal), and just any other experience? How are Gustin's henelys in general? Because at that price I think I rather get a Gustin if they are any good or better than Wings + Horns, homespun, and the likes. If they're just J Crew level stuff I won't bother. I only have the one Gustin henley. IMO it seems like it would compare to a JCrew. Nothing about it makes it different other then the fit is good for me.

Found myself Looking/Googling at Clarks Desert Boots yesterday as I'd like to find a summer shoe. But quickly dismissed the idea.

Made it through the weekend no problem. Went to a couple of stores (TJMaxx, Macy's) but honestly I have no desire to shop at any stores anymore. Only thing that I looked at was the Pionter Brand jacket sale (50% Off). If I wasn't doing this 1YNS I would have bought a Fisher Stripe one. But with this self challenge it was pretty easy to not buy anything.
