When I look at the pictures here, I think my Wabisabi fabric is superior than RT's. Again, the fabric is the only reason I am sinking more money to the shirt. apples and oranges. the wabisabi's unique. compare it to their ISC though. it's a piece of art and i fall in love with it every single time i wear it.

I cant wait for fitpics of Middleages workshirt. This is on the top of my most wanted list right now. Number two is getting my stuff from LD. Three is getting laid. Four is more money. Five is ending corruption worldwide. 1. Stands as is 2. Should be more money and will take care of 3. LD defaults to 4. 5. is fine I suppose but I'd prefer "replace puritanical US views on female public toplessness with superior Scandinavian model". You could be a true hero. If you prefer that crap about "ending corruption", go for it. I'd urge you to pursue a real act of selflessness though. So much oppression could be put to rest. 5. Stands. I live in scandinavia, so yay for me. You: ( ) Me: OO

I am done with my two G Work Shirts. Not going to buy another one (someone please kick my ass if I even mention something like that here). I am also not going to make any changes to them..... I AM FREE! Ok... here are the final pictures of my two work shirts. Wabisabi Work Shirt $65 tailor (shorten and took in the waist) + new buttons My famous Hickory Stripe Work Shirt (comparing to my blue chambray shirt) $20 tailor (took in the waist) + indigo dye (due to the stripe color breeding to the white after washes)

Like those buttons. I think it works well with the Wabi fabric.

My famous Hickory Stripe Work Shirt (comparing to my blue chambray shirt) $20 tailor (took in the waist) + indigo dye (due to the stripe color breeding to the white after washes) Let's not forget about the washing with new indigo jeans or whatever it was that resulted in the blue all over the shirt -- this isn't just dye bleed from the shirt itself.

Actually that dye in the hickory stripe workshirt bleeds quite a bit. The areas under the armpits are the worst. For a minute there i felt like retiring it cause of the stains but im past that. Its hella soft now and fits nice to form. Anyone notice how the newer workshirts are baggier than the first couple early campaigns?

Yeah, the dye of the stripe is bleeding to the white part and makes the shirt look rather ugly. I put the shirt every chance I got with other indigo jeans and shirts to dye it blue, so the shirt doesn't look as bad. Regarding the size, my Wabisabi and Hickory Stripe are about the same.

Now you just need to wear these, and get some work done. LOL

Potato cam pics of my PHB and BrownxBlack after the tailor. Took some width out of the bottom half of the body and cut about an inch and a half of length. I like the fit much better now and they still offer some room when buttoned up. I'm 6-2 185 lbs and these are slim XL's. Sorry for the crap photos but I have what I could only describe as wannabe Ebola and I don't feel like getting the good camera out.

I hope your tailor doesn't charge you like mine.... my Wabisabi shirt with the alternation to make it wearable is costing more than this COMME des GARÇON shirt. I feel so fuxxing dumb now. shop.havenshop.ca/collections/sale-items/products/cotton-check-raised-green-yellow-white

Couldn't you just have gotten a L slim and had the fit already without a need to get it tailored

Winterland and ickes, no, never tried the L slim. Based on the fit chart the shoulders on the L would have been too narrow and the sleeves too short (I think). The other factor was all three of these were ordered and cut before I'd ever laid hands on a G workshirt (I think maybe the Hickorys were the only thing shipped at that point) so it was a bit of a gamble. I funded these two and the Wabi Sabi, sold the Wabi off before it shipped in a pre Christmas wardrobe thinning. I'd bought a G button down in large and it was comically small on me in the shoulders so I figured with the WS's I'd err on the side of big and get them taken in if needed. In any event I don't need any more G workshirts so I guess it all worked out. @wils, thanks man! My tailor charged 50 dollars per shirt but the surgery was a bit extensive and his work is good. He actually said it would have been more if I wasn't a regular. It takes the overall cost into top tier brand on Rakuten territory but that's OK, the fit is good. This year I'm dialing back on clothes, I've got enough denim and workshirts etc and getting into a few good pairs of footwear and some new suiting etc. Ordered some White's Semi Dress.

exophobe, yes he did. He grumbled a little about it but he did. Funny thing I forgot to mention, he remarked that the shirt maker had forgotten to trim the extra runoff thread. I said "oh they did that on purpose, some people like it". He looked at me, looked at the runoff and said in his heavy Thai accent, "stupid". No more runoff for me, it was removed by the tailor. I was going to burn it back anyway. I'd have just snagged it on something if I left it there.
