Pictures? Did the indigo bleed to the white? Yes, the indigo was bleeding to the white even during my cold hand wash today. I later decided to wash it with my heavy indigo bleeding Lee jeans and all the white of the shirt are now pretty much turned into light blue..... I did not take a picture after the hand wash today but this is the photo from my very first wash. You can see the blue bleeding to the white and make the stripes look very sloppy.

Have you let G know about this? Anyone else have this issue after a soak/wash?

Weird. Have you let G know about this? Anyone else have this issue after a soak/wash? I warm washed mine, @wils told me he saw bleeding on it but I don't. My yoke was misaligned, but I have no complaints about the fabric.

I've just come to terms Gustin will continually make misaligned shirts fwiw.
Bleeding is odd like that. Honestly last time that happened to me was a felt patch on an Abercrombie polo shirt back when I was 14-16.

@wils, if you burn that shirt, you MUST provide pics. It will provide closure for us. I know more about that shirt than most shirts I own

I was actually in San Fran this week and burning the shirt in front of the Gustin office was in my mind for a second or.... an hour... Actually, I was thinking about it the whole time I was there.

I did another warm wash with a dry on my PHB WS. It tightened up quite a bit and fits really good right now. I already have some whiskering and fading visible. The color on this after a 2nd wash is really nice

I am finally able to catch up with my email after my two weeks vacation and look at the Wabisabi WS.
I have not tried it on yet but the fit does look similar to my HSWS that is not going to look good without some WORK (wash/dry/tailor). I read about the praising of the Wabisabi fabric here but maybe I am being spoiled by my Iron Heart Wabash shirt, I find the Wabisabi fabric is light and no way close to the quality of the IH's Wabash. Not horrible but I am not excited when the first time I touched it. Will have more review after I try it on.

To give another opinion:
I received my Wabisabi workshirt today (classic M) and am very impressed. The fabric is stiff and substantial, the look unique and the construction as good as I could have hoped (not perfect, but close enough for a workshirt).
On the fabric: none of the photos I've seen have been able to capture the vintage look of the fabric with the indigo/brown shades, and the red selvedge ID really pops against it.
I also received a RRL selvedge workshirt today and the Gustin easily holds its own.
Well done to Gustin and thank god the pockets are cut straight.

Not sure do you have any Iron heart shirt but if you like the Wabisabi WS, I think you will enjoy the IH Wabash. To me, the IH's Wabash fabric and workmanship is at least one to two classes above my Gustin Wabisabi WS. People knew (asked Sal and Ickes) that I was skeptical about IH but frankly, it was definitely one of the best clothing purchase that I made in 2014. gustinfriends.proboards.com/post/9656

My HS WS was bleeding indigo like crazy during hand wash today. After couple wears during the last two weeks, I consider it as a total loss ($155 down the drain). I later decided to dump it in the same tube that was soaking my Lee selvedge jeans to indigo dyed the Hickory Strike. I am going to have fun with it before putting into the trash or burn it at my back yard. Photos of my Hickory Stripe work shirt after all the damage that I had done this past weekend. This is now a full blown blue color shirt now. Btw, even with cold hand wash and hang dry, the width of the shirt had shrink more.
