I don't think this challenge will be difficult. I do go through phases of not buying clothes. Plus, I have 4 items in the pipeline from G and Ciano set to arrive over the summer, that may help hold me over. And having a bday just before the hiatus worked out nicely too. I don't think G could drop anything between now and September 1 that a) won't return by popular demand later, or b) is something that I will regret missing. And even with LD's deadstock access, I think they've more than proven that they are worth waiting for them to figure out how to operate a business. I have a 4Runner I can distract myself with in the meantime Don't you fret. This is only week one of ~13ish weeks. You'll have plenty of opportunities to face difficulties.

My girlfriend is in Tokyo right now, and sent me the best text EVER: "I'm going shopping..... What should I buy you?"
Duh! PBJ XX-O15 18oz denim!!!!! If not those, the XX-005BK..... If not those, and shirt there that she sees fit, but top shirt choice is the <2169> Indigo double gauze work shirt... Yes, not a gauze-like shirt, but an ACTUAL shirt made of gauze...... Damn, I love PBJ, and I love my gf even more!!!!! Knowing her, she might buy all of them if they have my size though.....
Ultimate 90 Day no spend workarounds!!!!!

It's almost unfair, because she shops as much as me... And she's being a spend thrift lately, really pampering me... But, I had to come rub it in, lol

I have some real 90 "supporters" in my life. G dropped another denim grab bag in the stock store (doesn't say heavyweight, but it's $75) and I said to my girlfriend "that's probably the most tempting thing I've seen to date with this 90-day no spend" to which my gf replies "I don't see the link" (she didn't check the stock store) and proceeds to ask me my size and pick up a mystery pair for me. I actually said "I don't need them and besides, it's a crapshoot and you potentially end up with crap". But I appreciate the gesture - however, I'm like someone in rehab having my gf buy me drugs.

Haha I have been good thus far. But not much longer I feel I'm gonna crack.

Haha I have been good thus far. But not much longer I feel I'm gonna crack. I have been good as well. I backed a bunch of things that should be arriving during the no-spend to hold me over. The rest, like today, are situations where my gf backed a pair unprovoked, and birthday giftcards that I've opted to put towards other projects and not clothes. The grab bags are always intriguing. I only backed one a year ago and scored the American Sixteeners. Looking at what's been arriving this week and the few weeks prior, it looks like quite a diverse selection for the grab bag. Meaning - I'm gonna get a pair I already have. Probably the karma of the 90 day no spend.

All Good Here (26 Days in, started the day the challenge was posted). I figure I'll be buying a few IH items so I should save up.

Being in the States has worked out for me. Mall shopping is not my problem... Online shopping when I'm at home bored is! And, being here on 24/7 daddy duty for 3 weeks has kept me fairly occupied most of the time.
I've been to 3 different malls, and all I can keep thinking is "Who actually wears this mass produced bullshit???" lol

It would take a hell of a store to carry the things we like here, in a large enough size and brand variety. B&M individual brand shops are fine though. The PBJ store in Harajuku was tiny, but I was easily in there for an hour lol

Although, that is far from your average B&M shop...

And you just reminded me..... I was supposed to go check out a local denim brand not far from home, but I opted not to... Billiam Jeans. I didn't want to tempt myself, nor did I want to bore my kids with adventures in denim lol

I will also say shopping on line is worse for me besides Marshall's or TJ Maxx.

Maybe this purchase can be discussed among the participants of this group? Is it a necessity item? Did your prior strap break or is this merely a "want"? If it's a necessity item, I think this group would consider that excusable.
