Last post about this, but just want to close the loop.. The seller is unwilling to budge from his position that the denim was accurately described and so is refusing to do anything. I'll take it from here.. If I were you I would have Roman send you pics of the fabric he has in store & then combine the Gustin pic & attach it to a ebay case to prove your point. I have done stuff like that & won. In my cae I bought a pair of Levi's Selvedge jeans but got non selvedge. The guy told me & ebay in a message that I switched them to scam him. I went & looked at his photo's to see if there were any distinct marks on the jeans that I could also photogragh which I found . There happened to be a run in the denim (score for me). Ebay decided that instantly & the guy said "Oh I must have added the pic of the selvedge from another pair of Levi's he had

Not sure if any of you good brahs have any poz/neg feelings re. pacificbluedenims.com/index.php?p=catgp&id=1 & their prices, performances, reputation etc. I've no clue. Can only say I purchased a 12oz Kaihara indigo & a 10oz herringbone (around 9 months ago). Both beautiful fabrics which are now truly dee-luxah (sorry)workshirts...tailored: snaps, flaps, contrast stitching etc, perfect fit...yeah, it worked out in the end....Anyhow, I found the site interesting & I saw a few fabrics there that turned my head around...

Pacific Blue is where Roman acquires a lot of his fabrics from what I understand.

N&F Kakishibu looks great but only wish it were heavier than 11oz..It seams that most have been done with lighter fabrics

Oh im sorry I thought you had fabric from ebay that was similar to Romans Yeah.. I bought what was supposed to be Nihon Menpu Kakishibu Dyed denim from eBay and had it shipped to Lawless. It turns out it isn't what it was described as and is identical to Gustin's DTB and some denim Roman happens to have in his shop. I just wanted to put this out there in case anybody else thought of buying the same denim from the dude on eBay. Yeah, yeah.. eBay, what did you expect, and all that stuff.. go ahead and let me have it, guys LD has Gustin Downtown Brown.... dawn... I need a pair from LD.

Yeah.. it seems Roman's got some of the same material. Again, to reiterate my earlier comment.. Chris from Guns 'n Money seems pretty knowledgeable about his stuff.. we were able to come to a fair conclusion, and, in his opinion, he maintains that the DTB material is kakishibu dyed. Whether you're inclined to believe him or not, it's some pretty sick material.
