This new "Cup Cake" generation is going to be our down fall. The 20 and younger just dont care about anything. Someone (parents, teachers, coaches, etc) have told them that they are All Wimners (No, some of you are losers!). I was a loser in school (never won anything and wasnt really good at anything), But that's what drove me to do better. Now everyone's a winner and gets a "Cup Cake"!!!!

Many schools don't even have an F grade any more. It's too demoralizing. The woosification of America.

As a parent, I blame the parents 100%. Each generation of parents is slightly more lax and chill than the one before. It's the whole "I hate my parents! I'll never make my kids do XYZ" mentality. Me? I know how strict my parents were on me, and they played no games, and I know I got away with TOO MUCH still, so I always figure I need to be at least as strong as my parents were, if not more so. "The farmers tend the fields. Crops don't plant and harvest themselves."

I was not friends with my dad until my twenties. I'm grateful for my disciplined raising. Anything else is taking the easy way out.

Blame sugar. Seriously sugar mixed with white useless carbs (read startch)
I agree with freedom of speech and government staying out of business that I agree with 100%
But like tobacco I feel these super high sugar beverages and "food" should have warnings like tabacco does. There is enough science to back that. But again I agree with free enterprise and not being a manny state but when things are proven to be horrible for you a warning should be associated with it.
Kids think these Greek yogurt and cliff bars are super healthly because that's how they are marketed. Even though they aren't at all. Hell over 30 grams of sugar in some yogurts.
I love how the junk food companies can lie bold face and say it's about calories in and calories out. Blaming it more on a lack of exercise.
I love the people with every thing wrong with them. Get the state checks, housing, food stamps. Cell phone. Make sure they can hit all 6 state support programs.

Not everyone educates themselves on these things, nor care to. Can't force them to, and it doesn't really make a difference in the end when you try. People live not wanting to know that these things are killing them. Like smoking, eating junk food is an addiction, and the more scared they become from health scare ads, the more they turn to their addiction for comfort. I know this first hand from smoking for a decade (it's been a little over a year since I completely quit), and several years of fast food eating when I went through depression and my weight skyrocketed (graduated high school at 140 lbs, and weighed close to 200 lbs a few years later).

Of those, I only own Mercedes. Fantastic boots. Got my first pair in 1992. Still have them. They were like $500 back then. Maybe a little more.

As an occasional visitor to the US for business trips, what jumps out to me is the portion size at restaurants. They're huge! I usually end up leaving half the plate. And I'm 6'3" 220 lbs! It seems that people eat out much more frequently than they do up here, as well.

'Merica! Not bad. Do you know why you are pulling left? Poor trigger squeeze. Here's a more recent with my 1911 (after upgrading it with a full length steel guide rod, so I was anticipating more recoil than I had):

I'm shooting every weekend with my dad. At this point, I should thin the herd I've collected. I don't really need a G23 that I never shoot, not to mention a Para Ord *shudder*.

Sure, some are collectible, but not the stuff I have. Heh.
