If you can get into the stock store, check this out. "Issues" is kinda vague, could be messed up fabric, stitching, or even messed up sizing??? $70 for sketchy 23oz denim. What do you think, guys? Worth it?

Worth it? Of course it's worth it. I doubled down for a couple pairs. There is no way you can lose. If they don't fit, you can provide correct sizing and sell them on ebay for $100 instantly even with flaws.

What's the word on 21+ oz denim? Size up one? I tend to start my denim quite tight and have them stretch to where they're just comfortable without a belt.

It's a third of the price, why not, right?

Can't get into the stock store. These must have went fast. I have the 26oz., and if I had to do it over, I'd have sized up on these, only because they didn't adjust the sizing for the heavyweight material. Everyone I know that bought the Beasts, has said they sewed up small. They are my smallest pair of my Gustins, all being the same size, and the 26oz is substantial for sure. I've beat um hard, and they haven't stretched as much as my others.

I ended up sizing up 1 to 31 slim; their description of the 23 oz beasts said they'd recommend sizing up 1, and judging by how painful my 18 oz super slubs were at first, I'm going to spare my hips the trouble.
I'm hoping I can live with whatever flaws they have. Fingers crossed.

I grabbed a 33 Slim. There was a 34 Slim, but I'm not messing with hemming a 23+ oz pair, so I didn't back it.

For the price, anyone looking to foray into the heavy jeans world really can't go wrong. Highly recommend the 26ers, and like someone already said, if they don't work, easy sell. Not sure I'd need another pair of these for many many years though!

I think the concesus was that both offerings tended to run small.

How can you go wrong at $85 shipped? (I had some store credit too.) I bought 3 pairs and will keep whatever works and sell the others. Also, upsized one based on consensus advice.

Received an email from Stephen was told the sale is for Gustin former customers. Had one of my orders canceled. I emailed back explaining I am a former customer but changed my email and requested I prefer one of the sizes over the other if I can only keep one. Also mentioned I help run the forum as I had emailed them many times we were working on the interview. Received an email back sounds like I only get to keep one. There can be only one!

I didn't buy anything and don't have a horse in this race, but man, but the way G runs the stock store access/non access and THEN they pick and choose who gets to order how many pairs feels like watching popular girls in HS decide who gets to sit and their table. I'm not in the slightest bit mad or even slightly irritated, more like "did that just happen?" lol. Kind of at a loss as to what they're thinking on this one Maybe they should get a big dude with an earpiece and a velvet rope

So... I hope this doesn't cause a flood of begging emails to Gustin CS...
I've actually written in once before kindly asking that I really enjoyed window browsing their stock store, and if they could just open up access to customers who, say, may have spent a minimum amount of X dollars and hence may be categorized as "loyal customers". Was kindly surprised when Stephen manually granted stock access to me. Unfortunately when they closed down public access a few days ago I too got blocked, so maybe I'll write in again to ask.
