TS and Mina are top notch at CS. Anyone complaining about them is likely doing it wrong.

TS and Mina are top notch at CS. Anyone complaining about them is likely doing it wrong. I was really polite and told them as a head-up for the future. Wasn't expecting anything since its been over a 1.5 years lol. Also, gave them suggestions about pockets and cuffs. Maybe it will be heard, should have told them about Portugal for you Bentin.

I've told them before. They're adults, as am I. I've decided that the pants moving to Spain is an even bigger deal. With them switching a shirt I bought because it was sewn in California to Portugal, and the bulk of recent offerings being Spain and Portugal sewn, they're off of my radar. Love the fit, hate the shift out of made in USA goods. But there are plenty of other choices, so I'm good.

New low with a MiC jacket. NeoShell is cool, but surely they could find someone in the US or Canada to make it. I won't even mention short sleeve henleys.

Just filled out the new survey for the Adventure collection.
No, I dont need any Henlys or waxed pants.......or anything on that survey.
Their last 2 "collections" have sucked. Commuter and Adventure.

Seems like they left a lot of folks out, I'll probably be left out going forward since they got a collective six stars for six items outta me.

I stopped getting the emails too. oh well.
the shift from MiUSA to Portugal doesn't bode well for TS imho. I get that they're expanding but this seems to be what a lot of companies do when they experience rapid growth. granted, I don't own many TS pieces but the main draw for me was MiUSA.

Call it the Oporto or Lisbon or We Sold the F Out, but calling that little bitch the California is beyond lame. i'm wondering if their growth is attributed to the Target collab they did a couple years ago? with this new growth TS was able to hire more employees, but adding more workers could've meant needing to find cost cutting measures, hence the move to made in Portugal. pure speculation of course. I don't buy the argument that they're working with a family run business in Portugal. to me this means it's at the expense of a family run business in America where jobs are kept.

To be fair, a drunk American family that can't sew so good. They're likely busy sewing amusingly unaligned G shirts with dick curtains anyway.

I posted an article a couple weeks ago about what they are trying to do in the garment industry in NYC. But the song remains the same, not enough workers currently sewing and not enough people who want to learn. I think the big irony here, and I buy a decent amount of MIUSA stuff, is that most of the people sewing MIUSA stuff are immigrants. And that's all I can say about the third rail before Ickels brings the hammer down.

Dungarhees, that have a wait time for their clothing because it's 1 person, or a small handful of people making stuff. Clearly there's a small but growing base of consumers who prefer MiUSA.

Who funds the Hydes? Horrible. I assume there's a weird subset on Style Forum that must love those turds.
