Who funds the Hydes? Horrible. I assume there's a weird subset on Style Forum that must love those turds. No pocket, no go.

the fit on the linen Hyde would have to be so spot on. Any oversizing in that material definitely gives off that pajama shirt vibe.
i'm curious what's more niche, the french placket or the band collar?

If you were given the choice between wearing a shirt with a french placket or a shirt with a band collar, and death were not an option, which would you choose? In my house, me being seen publicly in a shirt with a band collar would likely be grounds for divorce.

I have a half dozen TS shirts which I bought when they were starting out. They were making solid work wear type clothes, and had good quality, and value, but I feel that they have lost their way, and are pretty much irrelevant to me now.

I think the price creep will be the death of them. Well. That and their new approach to crappy nichewear, the newest collection being "PNW Outdoor Enthusisast". How many of those do you think are not all geared up already?

Their stuff is honestly quite hideous these days and I cringe when I look at it. I don't understand what they are trying to do. On a side note, what the hell is this Sailor Twitch thing??? Are they trying to be cute with the play on words? Is it another line by TS? I don't get it.

They used to have a site called Sailor Twitch, I'm thinking it MAY have been an artifact from their initial launch. It remained active for sometime and was like a discount shadow site for awhile. As to the inside joke about it, I'm not sure what exactly that was, but I'm positive there was one.

Maybe they did the same thing for the god awful women's line, but opted to avoid the hate mail by not calling it the "Hayley Chill Collection" (for example and she's probably too cool for this style).

Maybe we can revoke Sailor Twitch's passport next time he's in Portugal and get this train back on the rails?
Anyone a horribly unqualified billionaire?

On the bright side, maybe half of these new items are MiUSA, which is more than the last few projects.

I actually believe its one of the founders. They always have had a boating/sailing aspect to their stuff, and pretty sure thats where the name comes from.

I am kind of notice this on IG that many of the denim/workwear brands are evolving to be more sophisticated and "softer". I think TS is just following on what their customer want nowaday. Personally, I like their offerings today more than the past.

They used to make more conventional triple needle shirts. Now they seem to be sold on the assymetric pockets and running the chain stitch off the wrong side on the right side.

But, to Ickes' point, these were few and far between. TS started with that oxford - is that considered workwear? I also chalked them up to LL Bean meets SF.

And for bentin's side - their triple needed shirts were great when they were a bit more traditional. I have one of these in grey im still considering giving and indigo bath www.taylorstitch.com/blogs/archive/7331846-edition-092-the-corduroy-utility-shirt
