They gave me a $50 credit. Im tempted to keep the shirt, say screw the refund, and use the credit on thr civic collection I was going to back anyways. What do you guys think? Keep a shirt eith badly sewn buttins and bad stitching for basically $45? I sewed the buttons back on and kept mine, despite it being shirt #2 and still having a few issues because I REALLY like the shirt--it wears like a flannel I've been wearing for years right out of the bag. (Unlike, for example a couple of IH shirts I've bought that I love but that are going to take a long time to get to the "broken in" point).

Last Call explosion over at TS. Didn't last call used to be 50% off list price back in the day? I haven't bought anything from them in quite some time, but I did pick up a couple of items off of last call with much steeper discounts than what they have today.

If they are, it's a bad direction. Recent drops are not appealing.

I used to like most of their offerings when they started out, but when I look at the stuff currently offered, I can say that very little is of interest anymore, but I don't do flowery shirts.

Actually, when I took a second look, it appears that most of it is being offered at the initial workshop pricing, and not marked down at all. I've got a Utility shirt made from Nisshinbo denim that is really one of my favorites, and paid something like $50-$60 bucks for, which was old school last call.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to just need to start making my own clothing. What I find funny, is remembering my mom make stuff on her sewing machine, doing patterns, sometimes with my aunt, and never in a million years would I have taken any kind of interest. Kids back then were only about bikes, forts, and sports. I find the idea of it more interesting now, but I don't have the passion to learn enough to make what I would ever wear, after all, you could say we are all clothing snobs, to some degree. How cool would it be to make your own awesome gear though?

I bought a pair of the natural canvas camp pants.
Am planning on spilling red wine on them whilst playing artisanal horseshoes.

Or perhaps an indigo/persimmon dye combo. Edit: BTW, if you don't own any camp or chore pants, you are going to love them.

I almost bought the indigo over XMAS but was too late and they sold out. Was a bit on the fence about those as I'm not really a fan of that fabric. I'm hoping these are soft as advertised. I figure at worst I can wear them in the summer with "insert solid color t here" and be good.

I think I one or two-starred everything in that Spring 17 survey.

I think I one or two-starred everything in that Spring 17 survey. Same. California got two stars, Portugal one. Nothing good.

I took the survey via every email I am signed up for (like 8). So you're welcome when the spring collection is nothing from the survey. I only like the charcoal jacket (Portugal be damned).

Fedora style hats should be made from felted beaver, nutria, hare, or rabbit. Not wool. Especially for $90 bucks.
