I feel like one of the lucky ones. I've worn my red Moto a couple of times and haven't found any mistakes on it yet. Mine seems to be sewn up correctly, the only thing that seems a little off on it is the waist seems a bit wider than my other TS jacks. It's not blousy, I'm probably the only one who notices.

Anyone get a plaid (thinking red) moto shirt that can tell me what you think of it? It's not tempting at full price but 20% off might convince me. Mine sewed up horribly. The alignment is so bad it hurts my eyes. It's only in one spot, but it is VERY noticable. They fold over the fabric to create the placket, and in one spot they pulled the fabric in and sewed the button hole around that pull. It's very strange. One button hole is sewed crooked, and the rest are straight, but it causes the fabric to bow in, straighten, and then bow out over about 4-5 inches of the shirt. On a patterned shirt that causes chaos. On a shirt with pockets it is even worse. The pockets aren't spaced identically. There is almost a half inch variance in spacing, and the flap pocket is crooked. I e-mailed them and asked what they wanted to do. I don't want to send the shirt back because they don't have anymore 40s for me to exchange, and I love everything else. That said I expect more for a $100 shirt. I don't want to have to completely rebuild the placket and sew new button holes. Pictures below. What do y'all think? This should have been disclosed, and offered as a second. Looks to me like TS has been having more QC issues of late.

Got my Moto last week and was sort of relieved because it seemed like they had (finally) made the cuffs a little bigger. That was the right cuff. The left cuff OTOH was a full 1" bigger than the already bigger than normal right cuff--so, GIANT. It also had a weird defect on the fabric (see picture). I immediately emailed them and they sent me a return label and got me a replacement in the mail (CS was excellent as it always has been for me) Got the replacement yesterday and there are no real issues that I can see, BUT two of the buttons fell off within an hour just literally sitting on the couch watching TV which, kinda crappy.

Man TS must have been borrowing Gustin's holiday construction crew for the Moto shirts. My moto from last year happens to be one of the only TS shirts I have with any issues as well. Maybe they just can't execute their moto line

Your disdain for our Portuguese friends does not deter me.

Kind of liking that wool chambray button down. Yeah, me too. But this is a case of "maybe next month" for me. I live in the city, but dont ride to work. This made me throw up in my mouth a little..... not that there is anything wrong with that. (right picture)

I'll take a behind shot of me in the Japan Shine with those shoes if you decide that's the sort of thing you're into now. edit: speaking of, I lost like 12 pounds over the last few months, I bet those things fit me again.

I am ordering the tees and probably the button down. I might do the shorts and chinos. Really good pricing for merino, and I'm curious about the sonora.

this collection is meh in the sense that most guys/gals who bike to work are wearing a full kit and change at work. At least the people I know don't roll up to work in the tight stretchy jeans.
The hipsters and actual bike messengers in Sf wear capris if anything most of the time I see them. Maybe other cities roll like this but iono.

Sure, but it's athla-leisure.......gotta get a slice of that market share right? Low hanging fruit and all that.

I think the stuff is badass, cyclist or not. Merino is an incredible fabric for daily wear. Plus, this would be great travel/backpacking through Europe gear. You could wear any of that for days without a wash.

Merino fabric yes, but not interested in anything but a tee shirt from the collection. Different strokes for different folks.

So I got a replacement buffalo plaid. Came with the left cuff button dangling off. I sewed it back on.
Wearing it for 30 minutes today and the top button falls off.
I have 8 other TS pieces that are awesome, but this is a disaster of a shirt.

I have 8 other TS pieces that are awesome, but this is a disaster of a shirt. I had a left cuff button blowout on my first wear as well. No other issues as noted above in other shirts. Unfortunate all of this bad press. Good shirt. Maybe their are sabotaging their "Proudly made in California" shirts to make some of us clamor ( bentin) for the "Proudly made in Portugal" option. HA.
