How about the Charcoal Machanics? No one grabbing that one? Not a bad price. How's gray, Charcoal pair with blue jeans? I've made it a point to only buy shirts with some aesthetic appeal and/or color. And no gray. Gray is just drab, the color of a shitty day, or OG Russian streetwear. Enjoy! Why don't just say what you really think.?

The grey is better than the green. But the washed aspect of both just kills them for me.

Same. Sounded cool, looks bad. Really disappointed by this new "fad" of washed everything. Why is this a thing? The hbone would look so much better with a little crispness to it. Missed opportunity, but I may end up trying one out. I'd say a good 95% of clothing available to purchase is pre-washed, though I certainly understand your disappointment.

I assume Matt, like me, dislikes the 'washed to look worn' look like these herringbone shirts, not just a once washed garment. For example, RRL, all can go straight to hell for that 'distressed' look.

Weird. My last post is gone.
I think these in particular are growing on me for a couple of reasons: 1. Both my olive and black Mechanics have been cold washed a few times. They do have some of these elements, so its not like this an element I don't want. I prefer a more crisp look especially with a herringbone. 2. With the strenuous wear I put mine through (tough office living), I'm really seeing more wear on my elbows, and I think the washed look would give elbow wear a little more blended-in look.
Just talked myself into one of these. Time to create a new email address.

The grey is better than the green. But the washed aspect of both just kills them for me. The lack of white tape is compelling. I don't know how much the washing bothers me since it's going to look like that after I wear it a few times and wash it anyway, and it takes some of the guesswork out of sizing. When dealing with a not particularly fadey die what's with the unrest?

Just got my shipping notification for the Moto utility shirt. Pleasant surprise, i wasn't expecting that until late January.
Also, a new pair of 16oz japanese denim in the workshop. These look really good.

The 16oz denim does look good. But i'm trying not to buy more denim -- their jeans would be a want, not a need. Plus, i've lost interest in the 3 month wait times

Anyone get a plaid (thinking red) moto shirt that can tell me what you think of it? It's not tempting at full price but 20% off might convince me.

Anyone get a plaid (thinking red) moto shirt that can tell me what you think of it? It's not tempting at full price but 20% off might convince me. Mine sewed up horribly. The alignment is so bad it hurts my eyes. It's only in one spot, but it is VERY noticable. They fold over the fabric to create the placket, and in one spot they pulled the fabric in and sewed the button hole around that pull. It's very strange. One button hole is sewed crooked, and the rest are straight, but it causes the fabric to bow in, straighten, and then bow out over about 4-5 inches of the shirt. On a patterned shirt that causes chaos. On a shirt with pockets it is even worse. The pockets aren't spaced identically. There is almost a half inch variance in spacing, and the flap pocket is crooked. I e-mailed them and asked what they wanted to do. I don't want to send the shirt back because they don't have anymore 40s for me to exchange, and I love everything else. That said I expect more for a $100 shirt. I don't want to have to completely rebuild the placket and sew new button holes. Pictures below. What do y'all think?

Probably not But a solid Good. If it's sewn up correctly. Mine came with 2 right sleeves so it's going back. Placket trails on the end but not to bad IMO
