I'd probably buy the new green herringbone camp pants if they would fit.
Those fill a sweet spot in my pants that is currently empty.

Glacier Shirts...proudly made in California, bentin . Are you back in on TS? Frick, now I want that gray and blue one. That is a nice cut and concept. I think I'll pass on the Terry and the green. Product shots making me pissed I didn't pull the trigger on those green camp pants.

TS really has the market cornered on all things olive and drab.

It's great to see the Glacier making it's return. By far, my favorite TS design. I had begun to wonder if TS had scrapped the design, altogether......
They've made a small change, though. They've given it a pointed, western style yoke. It's not necessarily a deal breaker. But, depending on the fabric, it could be.
Edit: I like the yoke on the plaid. Though, I haven't quite warmed up to the fabric. I love the indigo terry. But, I think the original straight yoke design would be better suited to it.....
I may have just talked myself out of either of them. Pity.....

I like the Glacier shirt in the navy/grey plaid and the olive twill, but their sizing is confusing. so the size medium is listed as a 44, as in 22" p2p? then they have the size right above it that says find your size and has size large listed as a 42.

Actually prefer the snaps and western yoke. Could see grabbing all three, but the Indigo Terry is a must, very unique.

Medium is a 40. And the glacier shirt is cut trim in my experience. I'm wearing my Yosemite in a 40 today for reference: I'm 5'8 and I've put on some weight. 190 right now. But it fit me well when I was 170 too. I have broad shoulders, a full chest, and a little beer belly. Long torso. Hopefully that helps.

Tight in the chest, waist or both? Kinda debating sizing up one to wear more as an overshirt.

damn Ben (hopefully u go by that haha) we are about the same height and weight as well as beer belly but no way I could fit into the 40. My Yosemite is a 42 and that is pretty trim on me. Prolly could have gone with a 44.
Never got a glacier so I might have to try one out finally.

Is there a cheat sheet to the new size chart, or just buy the size that you usually get from Taylor stitch? The 42 is a large with an apparent 48" chest? I know there were some talks about it, but I didn't care until they dropped these. I'm liking the indigo terry and grey plaid quite a bit.

well I don't know if this will be any help to anybody considering the fit guide clusterf!@k that's going on at TS right now, but I picked up two Glacier shirts two years ago and they were sized larger than my other TS shirts. I ordered one size down from my normal size.

I hope TS is bracing themselves for a sh!t ton of returns/exchanges because of their incongruous fit guide. when I was trying to figure out my size the large was listed as a 42 and then when you look at the other fit chart below it a proper large (with 44" chest) is a medium. Makes no sense at all.

Agree with you guys - im just taking the stance of "I'm ordering whats worked in the past" and if it doesn't fit - ill be hoping an exchange works. this is likely the best approach...order the size that you'd normally order. i'd be willing to bet that they didn't overhaul the actual sizing of the garments, as that would be a huge undertaking...but are trying to rework how they represent the sizing to the customers. hopefully they land on a method that works for everyone (and numbers that are correct). i don't know why it's so difficult for manufacturers to do in the first place. people who already know their size are probably fine, those who don't are probably in store for a round of trial and error.

Not trying to drive traffic, just saying....
extensive conversation about this on SForum and the rep hangs out there so if you so inclined hammer on them in that thread and know that it will be read.
though I'm guessing it 'may' be read here as well

The sizing advice is definitely under construction, as it tells you to measure an existing garment and use that number, but I'm certain I don't have any shirts that are 46" wide.

The worst part is the pants not having any measurement. It's not hard to write: "Pants are sized differently than traditional vanity sizing, please see size chart"

Even before the current sizing fiasco, they weren't super consistent, as I have 5 TS shirts in the same size, and they all fit differently, from spot on, to a bit large, ie. overshirt size.
