I don't really find it confusing since they have a good four or five shots of the thing being worn the way it was designed. The advantage of wool as an over shirt is that it still insulates when it gets wet, so it's useful as an undergarment and an overshirt. i think the material choice lends to the already versatile design of the henley. Also, even as an undershirt, a pocket that you can secure your wallet in is handy when riding a bike, and a hidden pocket can be handy when traveling.
I'm unlikely to buy one, but I think it's a quite versatile garment if you look at it objectively.

I should say that I'm not a fan of Henleys. I just don't get what/why the buttons are for.

I think the pocket is designed for the kiddies to put their transistor radio WalkMan DiscMan iPod iPhone in while doing outdoorsy stuff.

I didn't realize there was a pocket and I get it especially since they did the collab with Mission Workshop ala cyclists/coffee shop bystanders.

I'm a cyclist and I'm currently drinking French pressed Brazilian coffee roasted ten days ago. But I don't get the pocket.

I'm a cyclist and I'm currently drinking French pressed Brazilian coffee roasted ten days ago. But I don't get the pocket. Same. I'm on my bike all of the time, but am not likely to use the pocket as I'll almost always have a bag with me since I'll also be carrying a lock and like to stash my helmet when the bike is parked. The only people I know that really use Jersey pockets (for food and co2 typically) are racers and long distance guys...who wouldn't touch a Wool henley with someone else's Schwinn traveller.

I use my jersey pockets when I do a lunch time ride lol, put my snacks and badge in there haha

I have a Nike wool/poly 1/4 running pullover with a pocket like this, and i use it all the time. it's handy for just taking an id/debit card/cash when you don't have any pockets in your shorts, or want to secure things better than they would be in running shorts with pockets.

Agreed, but that material is pretty unique. I passed on it to wait for the workshirt, but it was a trainwreck, so I guess I'll pay full price for this one. But all TS shirts are $25 too high.
Do we have enough pull on this forum to get a TS discount? 10% would make me buy more. 20% would get me to buy some stupid things.

They've had a number of pieces over the last few months that I'd pick up but they're getting to be as expensive as ratio which is faster and MTM. It's as if they've raised prices to make up for the 20% discount for workshop. Once they hit rakuten IH prices (which are beyond a lot of other Japanese brands), it's much easier to pass on them. Even when it's in the name of science.

That brought my order to $92.40 including shipping, which is a great deal for a MiUSA shirt with that fabric, in my opinion. $140? Perhaps not as much.

Incidentally, according to the TS website, this was supposed to ship between 5/11 and 5/15. Still no shipping notice for me. Anybody got one yet? If I don't hear anything in the next day or two, I'll shoot them an email.

Well I have an unused 20% off coupon and a $100 credit so in effect this would only cost me $12 I think. I just have to decide if I really want it or hold out for something else. I do like the cut and collar on it.

Today's 10% off is CaliChino. Is it weird that this pisses me off since they're made in Spain?

I wish it was just white instead of "off-white" but it'll work.

Henleys, wool crews, beanies, jackets and........sweatpants........in the summer. They're just content living in their Northern California bubble aren't they? Blissfully ignorant or not caring that the rest of the country would have zero interest in buying that right now. Annoying. So tone deaf. And that's coming from a Northern California native.

Blissfully ignorant or not caring that the rest of the country would have zero interest in buying that right now. Annoying. So tone deaf. And that's coming from a Northern California native. You guys hate all their traditional summer stuff anyway, be happy they're selling grey and blue stuff in the summer -- one could make the assumption that by having all their fall stuff continue to drop, they've heard the complaints people have every year at this time. I see that shiny plastic fleece-lined jacket and imagine the sweaty mess I'd be nearly year round in Colorado, but I guess somebody wants it, so who am I to judge? You say zero interest, but I see campaigns 20% funded on the first day, and with two weeks to go it's likely they'll fund. Apparently they're having second winter in New York right now (or last week), so maybe TS is just ahead of the curve. You're just mad because you chose to live in Florida where even second winter means you don't get to wear any of the cold-weather clothes you like so much.
